The Formd T1 is always a sexy case and is probably the winner, but you knocked it out of the park with the customizations on that H1.

NZXT H1 or Formd T1 - which case do you like more?

 All of the parts here are CNC'd aluminium that has been sandblasted and anodized and the first impressions of the quality here is seriously solid. There is a user manual available but at this point it does need a lot of work and it is missing quite a few steps. Hopefully this gets ironed out before actual release. So first you want to unbox pretty much everything or you can leave them in their assigned slots and boxes

 When we compare the same 120mm liquid cooler being used in other cases like the Circle Pro and the Thawzone Mjolnir, we're looking at about a 7 degree C improvement by moving to the T1. GPU thermals are respectable also, and again they were better in the flipped orientation, so although the case is kind of designed around having the fans at the bottom, thermals and noise levels will be much better by having the case flipped with the fans at the top. There aren't any big drawbacks by doing this, there's not going to be any upside down logos or USB ports, and the case looks just as clean in both orientations. The only slight drawback is that the power plug will now be at the top of the case instead of below it, but that doesn't really bother me personally

 The entire case has been flat packed and needs to be put together and at first I sort of cringed at this idea but it does reduce the cost a little and the assembly process is actually quite rewarding. If you've heard about this case before, then you'll know that it is exceptionally high quality.  Build quality and finish is as good as it gets, it's extremely well ventilated which makes it suitable for high-end systems, and the price, although high, is definitely competitive against similar options like the Ghost S1. The Sidearm T1 should be available around the $200 mark, but as I've said in previous videos, consistent availability of these cases is the bigger issue. The first batch of this case will be hugely successful without a doubt, I just hope that moving forward larger and more frequent batches will be produced. Because at the end of the day, whether you choose a T1 or a Ghost S1, an NK-SAM1 or a Streakom DA2 will probably come down to which one is just in stock at the time

Or a traditional layout that can sit horizontally like the Node 304, which would actually be better for cooling as the GPU side would no longer be at the bottom that would obstruct airflow. Obviously such a config would take up more surface area on a desk, but I'd definitely take a cool and quiet cookie box over a literal toaster oven any day. One can still choose to sit the case upright if one wishes, of course, but these are such simple options to implement.

 it is built and not a home run but I doubt I will be taking it apart since I will probably add a remote power switch to replace the bad one. All in all it beats having a bad design that requires a bunch of fans to keep cool. I only use the CPU cooler so it runs dead silent with a top end cpu and still very cool. That is worth a lot to me

Details lacking - overall good idea

 Is it metal? Yeah, it's metal. Power button is on the side, two USB 3.0 ports, headphone and microphone ports, intake vent on this side which, ah, yes. So this one's on this side for a good reason or this one, like this one's small on this side for a good reason

 Let's finish up with a look at the rest of the inside. You might have noticed already the absence of a, sorry I've drawn a blank here, right, the absence of a five and a quarter inch drive. So I don't know if you're anything like me, you're probably not using a five and a quarter inch drive anymore or you can just get, I mean they're like 15, 20 bucks, just get an external one for those few situations where you do need one and I think especially for an ITX space saving design like this it's probably the right choice. Ventilation for the front comes from here as well as the bottom so I'm just going to peel this off so you can see those two 92mm fans which have a removable, if I could figure out how to remove it, whatever I'm sure there's a way, so they have a removable fan filter on top of them that you'll be able to take off and clean

 I love that, very, very, very innovative design. So they put the power supply right under the drives and then you've got your ITX board and you've got your long graphics card so as long as your power supply isn't super, super long, I mean you'd still be able to have something about this long, like not bad at all, then you won't have any trouble fitting all the hardware you could want in this tiny little enclosure including liquid cooling, should you so desire it. And all the fans are controlled from this high, medium, low built in fan speed adapter here at the back and I think that pretty much covers it. Thank you for checking out my unboxing of the extremely exciting and very cool Fractal Design Node 304 which as I mentioned before is also extremely well built, I mean these are thick steel right here, your hard drives aren't going anywhere

 I used AS5 instead of the stock Intel paste. I went with the stock cooler because the cables will get in the way and the CPU fan exhaust will blow against the back of the GTX 770. I don't expect heat issues but I will monitor them at first.  The construction and materials are not bad considering the cost for the case

 The front bezel is solid which snaps off and you can clean the fan filters. The front bezel appears to be brushed aluminum but it's actually plastic. It's tough to tell the difference until you touch the material. No one will know it's plastic but you

*UPDATE* The Cooler Master 212 Plus is way too big so now i'm looking for another solution. I'm considering a small water cooled device that doesn't take up a whole lot of room, so i'm running with the stock CPU cooler and i'm not overclocking until I get a proper cooler.  While this case offers an attractive product along with good value there are some things to consider. It's true that this case will support a Full Size ATX PSU, a full length GPU and a full size aftermarket CPU cooler but there's a catch

 *I'm sure if you purchase a PSU where the cables come out towards the back instead of the side this should not be an issue.*  I decided to go with the stock CPU cooler and i'll watch the temps. Not Bad With Some Modification

 the color scheme and the minimalist design spoke to me. the lack of an optical drive is due to the location of the HDD/SDD bays and the PSU. I understand that this layout actually makes this case a little larger than others in its class but I didn't like how others mounted the PSU above the CPU. Also, optical drives are are on their way out

Awesome case.

 Once again for file servers, quite home theater PCs, as well as high-end gaming systems. Last but not least, I really like the minimalistic and simple design. It's a beautiful case and definitely a very strong competitor to Corsair's 250D. Pros are very good price-performance ratio, support for long graphics cards, support for ATX power supplies, support for tower CPU coolers, as well as water coolers

 The quality of the case cover, I have to say, is very, very good. Once again, on the case cover itself, we have two dust filters. This one on this side and the other one for the graphics card, which is removable by the way. On the back of the case, here we have a pre-installed 140mm fan, but you can also install a 120mm fan here or a 120mm water cooler

 You just unscrew these four thumb screws. Then you simply slide off the case cover. The quality of the case cover, I have to say, is very, very good. Once again, on the case cover itself, we have two dust filters

 Here we have the three-step fan controller, two expansion slots, the I.O. shield spot and the power supply connection. The internal cables are all black and we have good cable management features here

Fractal Design Node 304 Review

 Your PSU MUST measure under 160mm in length. I bought a PSU that measures 170mm and the GeForce GTX 780 will not fit at all. Moreover, the cables to plug into the motherboard and other parts come out the side of the PSU that faces the video card, so even 160mm probably wouldn't be short enough, as that is the bare minimum for the card to fit. To me, this is false advertising

 If a full-sized graphics card can't fit with an average-sized PSU, then it doesn't accommodate those cards as easily as it boasts.  I just purchased a PSU that measures 140mm in length. If that doesn't work, this review will get demoted to 1 star for out right false advertising.

Be careful with full-sized graphics cards and PSUs!
