 But I don't think that vinyl and analog purists will mind the manual nature of the RT82 or other reference turntables. Another great feature built into the RT82 and the other reference line turntables that I briefly mentioned earlier are the adjustable feet underneath. These reference turntables have three adjustable rubber vibration isolating feet down here so that you can get the turntable to absolute level to get the best playback from your turntable. So once you have everything set up and you have it going through a preamp and into your speakers or receiver or headphones, how does it sound? Incredibly pure

I grabbed a Pro-Ject Essential III for $300 on Amazon. I was trying to decide between a U-Turn, Fluance RT82, & the E3. The biggest reason I got the E3 was it was available immediately. I LOVE it. I upgraded from the AT LP60, which I liked, but am super excited with the E3. Good luck with your decision.

Would y’all consider this a decent tt for someone new to all this or is it overkill for a beginner? Decided to just get my own tt

 My favorite is the OM Pro S, and it has great bass and amazing sound quality (the other two are great too). I bought the RT 82 as an upgrade for my vintage Technics SL 235, and I thought the OM 10 cartridge was a win-win for me. It has a cool design and looks. However, I am disappointed with the T 82 sound and the OM cartridge (probably I got a crappy one)

The Fluance RT 82 came with the OM 10 cartridge, which I was looking for too. I own a couple of cartridges; Ortofon Concorde MK2, OM Pro S, and Audio-Technica AT-VM95E. My favorite is the OM Pro S, and it has great bass and amazing sound quality (the other two are great too). I bought the RT 82 as an upgrade for my vintage Technics SL 235, and I thought the OM 10 cartridge was a win-win for me

 The sound quality of the bass is not match to my SL 235. I switched cartridges (and switched the pre-amps and used different pre-amps), and the sound quality of the RT 82 improved, but the sound of my SL 235 was still better. You will get a good sound with the RT-82 if you get a decent cartridge (OM Pro S, MK3, or better), and I still recommend the RT 82 if you need a good turntable.

 Maybe we'll include some photos of them in the wild. And the other thing about this turntable is that it's at a price point where this turntable is very, very competitive. Where it stands, it's integrated. All of the technologies of both, I feel, what they learned from the RP8, the RP10, some of the NIAD

 We have a P10 here at the shop with an Afeleon 2. We've also had a P10 with an AFETA 3. I've listened back and forth between the P8 and the P10. The P8 does not sound as good as the P10

 We've sold a bunch of P8s. It's been a really, really successful turntable for us, both in terms of sales and in terms of just pure enjoyment. I mean, when people come to the shop and they see the P8, it's definitely a piece that just starts getting questions. People are asking about it

 And given that this is a Rega tonearm with a three point mounting, that is, that makes life so much easier. You connect the, well, if you buy the Planar 8 with the Afida 2 to come set up, you just bring it home, maybe check the tracking force, but you're done. There is no alignment required because it's already done for you. But if you had the Anya on this, like I did, and if you're stepping up to the Afida, no problems

 Lastly, Blood Sweat and Tears, Mo-Fi One Step, fantastic recording. Blues part 2 here done so well. Again, drum solo is fantastic. More dynamics compared to the Anya, more clarity compared to the Anya, more of everything compared to the Anya

 So dynamics over the Anya is very well rendered here. Clarity in sound while being a forte of Anya, now the Afida brings in more civility, I should say, especially in the high frequencies. Because there's a lot going on in this track, in these tracks of this album. It can get a little heavy, but a lot of instruments coming and it's very organized

 Okay guys, in conclusion, I have to say this P8N Afida 2 cartridge exceeds by a large amount what I heard with the Anya mounted on here. So not only does it give you more detail but it does so in a very refined manner. This is this table, I borrowed this from my friend Rob who owns No Noise Record Store. This is his personal table and I was joking to him but I really meant it

Rega Planar 8 Review PART 2: with Apheta2 | Scarily Good!

I am a big Rega fan (currently own a Planar 8 table) and I agree you would be better off avoiding the Planar 1. Its not a bad table, but its overpriced for what it is. The stock cartridge is very bad and the table itself is a compromise to hit a price point. The best value Rega table would be the Planar 3 which is $1125 without a cartridge and wouldn't make much sense given your total planed budget

I have decided to buy a Rega turntable. I am new to the turntable and vinyl world but I am trying my best to learn as much as possible. I know I need other external devices for the Rega turntable to work. What I want to find out right now is if there is a specific Rega turntable that supports wireless speakers? Or is there a way to make any of the Rega turntables support wireless speakers? 

I had my eyes on the P1 but then I saw there is a RP1. Which one is better? Or should I go with a newer version?
