 I wanted to include this so you guys could see because some other watch brands it can be an absolute nightmare trying to fit your watch strap. So with Fitbit it's no hassle at all which I love. The light is also water resistant up to 50 meters so you can swim with it, shower with it, get any water on your smart watch and it won't be a problem at all. It does also regularly get updates and should do so automatically when it's connected to your phone

Fitbit Versa Lite Watch Review | WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW!!

 Okay so I wanted to show you guys some of the watch faces that I've downloaded from the Fitbit app store and there are a lot of free watch faces you can download as well as there's actually a app called FitFace where you can download free watch faces as well as creating your own personalized watch face so I think that's really cool as well. Right so my top five reasons to get the Fitbit VersaLite is it's easy to operate it's lightweight on the wrist and comfortable to wear all day it has fun colors and you can accessorize it with tons of different bands and watch faces available and there are as I said a lot of watch faces so I don't think you can ever get bored of the amount of watch faces that are available and also the OS is snappy and responsive and they're constantly they're constantly sending you updates so I really like that about Fitbit. Okay so there are a few things that I wish this watch had um I wish I could control music outside of this Spotify app so like it only allows you to control music um that's directly linked to your phone and I wish it could just control music um from the watch itself so that would be cool. Also um the ability to respond to messages and they call directly from the watch I know they have a newer version which is the Versa 2 which has pretty much all of these features but I feel like they could have made it like basically across all the Versa line of watches they could have put in all these features um also like a larger screen display or less bezel on the display because I feel like they could have made it an edge-to-edge display like they did with the new Versa 2 so I just wish they did it across all of the Versa line and just to kind of show you what the app itself is like and I'm gonna try to go through this as quickly as possible so just enjoy that and I will leave you with my final thoughts

 So I just do minimum cardio workouts and things like that and these apps are great for that. Also there's fun little apps on there and games and things like that so you'll see me go through a few of those but you just saw my Yoda quotes and I'm gonna show you another workout app that you can download for free as well that I just actually installed on my VersaLite. So this workout app actually gives you a lot of different choices in terms of different workouts that you can do and it actually also gives you previews of each workout before you start the workout process and it's really detailed and it gives you obviously a video instruction so I think that's really awesome. So with these workout apps I find that it's really easy to take on control of just being healthy and fit

 So right now you can see one of the free workout apps that I like to use just to get some cardio in and just to stay fit. It all depends on what target you're trying to meet with your fitness but for me it's just about staying fit and staying healthy. So I just do minimum cardio workouts and things like that and these apps are great for that. Also there's fun little apps on there and games and things like that so you'll see me go through a few of those but you just saw my Yoda quotes and I'm gonna show you another workout app that you can download for free as well that I just actually installed on my VersaLite

 So the physical button on the watch is well there's only one physical button there and the purpose of that button is to always go back home. I believe you can adjust what you want that button to do but basically it's just a home button. So as I'm going through the apps I have mostly the pre-installed apps that came with this device however you can download other free apps on the Fitbit App Store as well as downloading paid apps. However, just a note, there are a lot of free apps and free watch faces available

Fitbit Versa Lite Review

 As for battery life, the Versa Lite was able to last me an average of about 5 days which is pretty impressive. Additionally, it takes about an hour and a half to fully charge the watch. So is the Fitbit Versa Lite worth your cash? Well, if you're after a well-designed, affordable smartwatch from a well-established brand, you can't go wrong with this one. Of course, it comes with some limitations and you can always save up a bit more to get the Fitbit Versa 2 if you want more functionality

 Hey what's going on YouTube, Mike here and so a few weeks ago we did get our hands on the Fitbit Versa Lite and of course this is Fitbit's budget line of smart watches. So in an earlier video we did a quick hands on and unboxing and so today we have the follow up review of the Fitbit Versa Lite. So I've used the watch for a few weeks now and I just want to give my thoughts on the device. Is the Fitbit Versa Lite worth owning? Let's take a look

 Of course this entire build is waterproof and you should be able to take the watch along when swimming. Fitbit does provide a secondary strap in the box which is longer so if you're a lot more comfortable with a longer strap then this will definitely come in handy. Of course you do need to install the Fitbit app on your smartphone first to set up the watch. In fact when I was recording video for this review I actually got a firmware update for the watch which added a couple of useful features

 You do need to connect your phone and watch by turning on the Bluetooth and GPS connectivity. So let's take a look at the app first. The Fitbit app supports a wide range of Fitbit devices and of course it shows you how to use the Versa Lite. There is a built-in manual within the app that walks you through the different hardware and software features that come with the watch as well as the app itself

i lost a much cheaper "fitbit" clone, so i splurged, sort of, and got the "lite" version. ( $200 for a smartwatch seems a bit silly ) it tracks sleep on target about 80% of the time. it does "misread" when i am actually awake, and telling me i was asleep. it has shown me as being asleep to 7 am, when in fact, i got up at 3:55 a

solid 4 star mostly, room for improvement- edited- watch died after 2.5 yrs

 And if you have an Android phone, you can use Fitbit's quick replies to send answers to texts directly from the watch itself.

As for heart rate monitoring, the Versa Lite is accurate compared with a Polar H10 chest strap. For the majority of my tests, it was only off by about one to four beats per minute to the chest strap.

Similar to Samsung's Tizen OS, the interface is organized, intuitive, and easy to grow accustomed to. Swipe down on the screen for notifications, swipe to the left for apps, and swipe up for your dashboard to check your progress.

 After holding the power button for a full minute I realized it was dead. I put it back on the charger, but the screen still did not light up. I contacted Fitbit support and relayed this info to them. The rep told me the battery was dead and I should charge it for at least an hour

 I waited four hours and still nothing. I contacted Fitbit support again to let them know it was still not working, and provided a case number from my first contact with them. The rep still made me repeat everything I had told the first rep, then told me that they would my issue to another team and I should expect an email on this issue shortly, but they could not give me a time frame. I waited for another day and received no email, so I contacted support AGAIN

 I contacted Fitbit support and relayed this info to them. The rep told me the battery was dead and I should charge it for at least an hour. I waited four hours and still nothing. I contacted Fitbit support again to let them know it was still not working, and provided a case number from my first contact with them

My new Fitbit died a day after I received it.

 You can change your clock face You can mix up your exercises so that you have new exercises all the time It's very easy to change your watch face All you have to do is scroll through the Fitbit store One thing to keep in mind though, is that some of them do cost money So you will find out as soon as you try to install them whether or not you have to pay There are also other settings in the Fitbit screen you can choose what your main goal is so I said steps you can choose which wrist you're wearing it on and there's also All of the apps available so that all you have to do is tap to install them There's a full app store on the Versa light. So yeah, you just scroll through take a look I would probably add the Starbucks app But I really like that there's also healthy eating apps and general utilities Like I would use on my phone every day. The Fitbit Versa light is a versatile smartwatch. I love it It's even though I've used the Fitbit Versa and I knew the features on that one I don't miss any of them on the Fitbit Versa light

 You can see your full day from that day So all of your activity, so there's your steps you can see your current heart rate as well as your resting heart rate there's different distance because this watch does have GPS and You can basically just scroll through and see exactly how you're doing for that specific day And you can also get all of your smart notifications so you can As add all of your favorite social media networks on the app, and then you will see it pop up on the screen. I Took the Fitbit Versa light out for a few runs. This is what it looks like in bright light So it is very visible in bright light. All you have to do is flip your wrist and there's your data I also used it for quite a bit of circuit training so this was right after I had worked out and it shows you all of your stats your heart rate and how many calories that You burned during your training The optical heart rate monitor works very well I love how Fitbit will categorize your heart rate during exercise into the fat zone fat burning zone as well as the cardio zone and the Peak zone I find that when you get into the peak zone It's almost too much

 Now if there are potentially any downsides it's kind of hard to justify them. Are you missing features? Spend more and you can get them on other Fitbits. This watch a little too big? Go with something like the Inspire instead. Want to respond to those texts right on your watch? You can get an Apple watch

 It's super easy to set up and operate and it does things like count steps and sleep automatically. It's also got that heart rate monitoring which I think is a big plus and I can get most of my alerts on it including texts, calendar notifications and phone calls. Even if I can't respond to those on the watch I'm still getting them. The long battery life on the Versalight is also a huge plus

 With these little nudges every day you can stay on track towards your goals. You can get those little reminders right to your wrist to get active, stay hydrated or to get to bed at the right time. You can also set silent alarms too which you can also use to help keep yourself moving. You can see your time spent in light, deep and REM sleep stages and get personalized insights to help you improve

The Samsung Galaxy Watch 4 is an incredible, top-tier smartwatch and another one of our favorite wearables. It is intuitive, has a wide array of smart functions and popular app support, and offers impressive fitness tracking features. There's not much to criticize about the Galaxy 4, though it does have unimpressive battery life. Still, the battery life was on par with the Apple Series 7 and pretty typical for such a feature-heavy device. We also had a minor criticism about the margin of error during step counting and heart rate monitoring. And just like the other premium models of wearables on our list, Samsung also commands a higher price, which could be a barrier to ownership for some. That said, if this watch is within your budget, then we highly recommend it for Samsung smartphone users looking for a top smartwatch.
