Fender Champion 20 vs Marshall DSL40CR

The reverb and effects are very good, with less "digital" sound than I am used to with simulated effects. Still, I prefer my separate Boss pedals that have a lot more control for the delay and chorus. But the Champion effects are plenty good enough for practice without hauling out my pedalboard. BTW, the amp works fine with a two button footswitch P/N 0071359000 (which isn't clear in the online info or brief instruction manual)

I have a Les Paul with a DiMarzio Super Distortion in the bridge. The DiMarzio is very bassy and has low treble naturally so I have to turn the treble and presence way up. On Channel 1 Red mode I have the Bass at 3 o clock, Mids are maxed and Treble is at 3 o clock. Presence is at 3 o clock and the Resonance is at 12 o clock

Only thing it doesn't have as a tuner. Okay, so that's pretty much it. It's needs to sound good at low lines. It needs to sound big at low volumes

Great amp, same tone as my DSL100 half stack but I can use it in the living room! You could easily still do a gig with this rig in a smaller setting too. Fair price and fast shipping as well!
