Excellent performance. Really very happy, with one small exception that I couldn't find any info about online. My son was attempting to get into making his own espresso, and held the portafilter and basket up really high on the grinder causing grounds to build up and spew out everywhere/up the chute, etc. That's when our dreadful static issues began

Update Aug 2020 I have seldom been so impressed with a product in this age of promises, hype and poor quality control. I am using this on a regular basis with my La Pavoni lever espresso maker and my Beko automatic Turkish coffee maker and I have never had better results. So happy I spent the money before they were gone. Executive Summary: It works and grinds consistently

The biggest flaw in the design of the Eureka grinders is that there is no way to get an accurate read of the burr gap. I would like to tell you what my setting is, but the only way I can do that is, maybe, to count how many full turns of the knob fully opens the burrs and also tell you the number on the dial before I started unspooling. I am not certain that this measurement process, when “undone” in the obvious manner, would get me back to where the sweet spot was.

I've used the Lido E every day over the last months, and it works splendidly. The large burr set makes short work of my beans for espresso, and grind consistency is outstanding. This is a quality product, built to last, and I feel it was worth the price. The extra touches, such as the dosing funnel which screws onto the coffee jar, and the base for use and storage on the kitchen counter, show the thoughtful design involved
