 So let's get into this brand new review and tell you what this is all about.

 Before we get into it, you guys know the drill.

 Alright guys, so this is the Elite 2.0 Smart Trainer.

 This was sent to me from Katie from Toddson Sports,

 allowing me to review it and use it throughout the winter season

 to get a little bit more familiar with indoor training and everything that comes with it.

 So this is an indoor trainer. It is a real on trainer.

 So that's why I have my bike here with the red trainer tire.

 And it has all the smart integrations that you would want

 so that you can ride on virtual riding apps like Zwift or TrainerRoad or Ruby or any of those things.

 It has an accuracy rating of plus or minus 5%.

 It has more than enough watts for like 1800 max watts or something like that.

 And it has a gradient simulation of 10%.

 So those are all the statistics that you need to know.

 It comes with the thru-axle and all the adapters that you need to use it with a variety of different bikes.

 And you can mount the silver portion here, which a lot of people are calling the toaster,

 in different ways so that it works with whatever bike you have.

 My experience with the trainer overall has been really, really good

 because I've appreciated the fact that I can ride in the winter.

 And I really enjoyed the smart integration and riding with Zwift for the first time.

 And I learned a lot about power numbers, power to weight ratio,

 And it felt like I got better in the winter in terms of performance and in terms of fitness

 rather than just having to wait for four months until the winter passed

 so that I can get back outside and ride again.

 And if there's anything I can recommend to users that are thinking about a winter trainer,

 I would strongly recommend going with a smart trainer if you can afford it.

 It just provides you so much more flexibility and options in terms of which apps you want to ride with

 as well as your training purposes and regimen.

 You can just really train with a lot more accuracy and a lot more data,

 which has proved to provide better numbers and better results in my opinion.

 So I'd strongly recommend a smart trainer if you can afford it.

 So it's an introduction into indoor training and allows you to get going with smart training

 at a fraction of the cost compared to these dedicated indoor bikes or direct drive trainers.

 That being said, my experience with this at the very beginning was a little bit difficult.

 It's not the most user-friendly trainer in all honesty compared to some of the other ones that I've read about.

 When I first got it, setting the thing up, the documentation that you get is extremely confusing.

 I looked through it once and I didn't bother using it.

 You get this little diagram here to mount the thru-axle with the bike.

 You get all the little adapter pieces that you need and of course the power cable over here

 so that you can use all the smart integration features.

 But like I said, it wasn't the easiest bike to or the easiest trainer to get set up with my bike

 and I suspect that that's probably common for a lot of people with this trainer.

 Once you get it set up, it's relatively easy to use,

 but there is a learning curve with indoor training and I learned that rather quickly.

 This particular model comes with this red fancy rubber roller here.

 So that's where your wheel attaches to the trainer.

 It tends to burn the rubber quite quickly and I learned that right away.
