Our Shark Vertex is broken (I think it's the bearings in the roller) and I will not spend $100 to replace a head that will likely do the same thing in another year. I will be purchasing a Miele or Sebo from a local vacuum/sewing store.

This unit I can run multiple times and after the first time the dust bin hardly has anything in it. The brushes spin at a much better RPM not throwing debris around the house especially in already vacuumed areas which I hated with my older model. The Lidar is much quicker to map out your home and the robot will detect carpet, mark it on the map by shading the area with a light grey diagonal line pattern, and then increase suction power while vacuuming on it. Love this feature as I normally run the vacuum on standard power and it will boost to max or ultra max on the carpet by itself

This vacuum sucks up everything!! Even cords you're trying to vacuum around. But once you know it's fine, it just takes a little extra work to pick them up before destroying them. It is able to suck up all the cat hair in my house in one pass, whereas the Roomba i7 took 2 or three passes to do the same job. That was with preparation! I wanted this to be easy and it became quite apparent this would not be. If you had no kids, no animals, and we're a clean person, this would be incredible! If you have to pick up and organize before you robo vacuum, then I'm not sure it's really a timesaver. So, I'd rather do it myself and leave the frustration behind.

The dust bin is simple to remove and clean out and no vacuum bag is needed. This vacuum is definitely doing a great job of keeping my home clean and tidy.
