I wanted to stick with 4k, but go slightly larger so I didn't have to sit so close. I did a couple days' research and settled on this monitor. It supports the latest protocols: DisplayPort 1.4, HDMI 2

I have found toggling the refresh rate in the display settings from 60hz to variable 40-60 and back fixes it instantly.

However, I haven't noticed much benefit to higher refresh rate with an RTX 3080, but I'm also a casual gamer. Just don't buy it for the KVM as it'll most likely annoy you. UPDATE (dropped to two stars): Gigabyte support suspects my "panel might be bad", but my only option is to send it back to Gigabyte at my own expense for inspection. Save yourself the trouble and buy from a better manufacturer

Mine also has a physical defect and I was planning on returning it. Customer service was horrible to deal with.
