 Typically, for most people all day every day - and i can tell you that by adding these products, especially the orthotics - maybe a good pair of socks - you're going to feel amazing amazing and it will happen right away. So you've got my word on that. That'S that's what i'm saying, and i only say that from experience because i'm wearing their socks, i'm wearing the orthotics and my feet never hurt at the end of the day and i'm a foot care professional. I ordered a 7.5 under the premise that these run "true to size", but was surprised and disappointed to get my boots only to realize they're nearly a half size too big. I gave them the benefit of the doubt, because I'm usually pretty picky and critical of how shoes in general feel on my feet& decided to wear them anyway. I was getting pretty tired of wet feet on the job and really needed these to work out

 Alas, I wasn't being too fussy as I'd initalyl thought and these boots are indeed too big, even when doubled up on the socks. So now I'm stuck with a pair of boots I can't return after one use. Too big to use, just sitting there. They otherwise would be a great boot, from the comfort, to the design

Kinda Bummed on the Size

 Speaking of comfort, let's talk about the break-in process for these boots compared to the mountain pass, they were relatively easy. I wore them for three hours a day for three days and after that i felt like they were good to go. There was just a couple of hot spots in this stiffer heel portion, but other than that with the soft leather they broke in really fast. One last thing that i love about the bull run: mocto is that they're made in the usa if you're looking for an awesome work boot that you can wear all week at the shop and then romp through the desert during the weekends

 It'S really comfortable for those long days, it's also lightweight and it's oil and slip resistant. This is great for working on those smooth surfaces for long hours. One thing to note with this softer outsole is that it's not going to withstand as much abuse on rougher surfaces. I haven't had any issues with wearing, but i will update this in the next year or so with how the outsole has worn in the environment that i'm going to be wearing it in again, that's going to be different depending on the environment you're in, but for Me i haven't seen any wear issues with this so far, these are made with a full grain oiled, leather upper and that's beneficial for a few different reasons

 It'S just comfortably roomy, I'm really happy with it. I think this D width could maybe work on e widths if you're slightly on the widest side of a D. I think you're gon na be fine with these boots, but I found it very comfortable, like I said, the sole is really soft, which has its downside. It'S like it doesn't clump as nicely as some work boots sometimes doesn't feel quite as stable, but it is supportive

 It fit me really well, it was a bit roomy in there there's a chance. I could have gone with an 11, but it's not like uncomfortably roomy. It'S just comfortably roomy, I'm really happy with it. I think this D width could maybe work on e widths if you're slightly on the widest side of a D

 Muktar, I'm a big fan of it and just aesthetically speaking they're very good to look at there are a lot of workplace friendly boots that are just really ugly. I really think thurgood's is not good. Looking at all, this is good. It'S a really good sweet spot of fashion and function, so I think it really has a lot to offer

 That'S what you're often likely to see in companies this Lodge, so I'm glad they at least brought the cost down to the size of the company. The leather is quite nice. I really like this interesting sort of velvety oilton leather. They have it's not too oily

DANNER BOOT REVIEW - The Bull Run, America's Favorite Moc Toe?

 The negative of it is it's going to be a little bit harder to resell, but between me and y'all at $200, I know that's not cheap for everybody. It's not cheap for me. You know, I'm probably not going to resell a $200 boot. I mean, you start getting into Nick's boots, you know, Redwing Iron Ranger might be about the lowest or the blacksmith

 So I got a size 10 and I got the eight inch. So let's get into it and look at them. So when you open them up, I've worn them for a day or two. They're pretty comfortable

 And these are going to be good for like, you know, concrete warehouses working indoors. You're not going to be wanting to wear these on asphalt all day. It's going to ruin the sole and what else. So the comfort of the boot, I don't really believe there's that much of a breaking period

 Y'all can try them and see what you think. For $200, I don't know, between these and the Thorough Goods, this is very subjective, but in my opinion, if I'm going to spend $200, I've been wearing my Thorough Goods for six months now and they're my favorite pair of boots. They look like rough, you know, because I've been wearing the Daylights out of them, especially the sole here is completely, you know, darkened and I have scrubbed them, magic eraser, everything. The next best thing, I'll probably put some sandpaper on, but if I had a choice between these and the Thorough Goods, to be honest with you, I'd probably choose the Thorough Goods

TL;DR: If you need some real work boots, get these. I changed my last to the 55 for my next pair, and those will be my longer day shoes, but man, these are outstanding boots that need little care and last forever. 18 months is 12 months longer than my last pair of work boots lasted. Bonus: I generally clean boots a few at a time, so the last shot is my Quoddy’s Ring Boots in Chromepak and my White’s Semi-Dress in Burgundy Horsehide

**Construction:** These are the first White’s Semi-Dress I’ve actually examined and I’m pretty happy with the construction. I believe all the little things people notice are definitely there – a bit of rubbing on the vamp from the edge cleanup, not the most amazing edge treatment, rough welt joint, etc. None of this bothers me. Maybe if I was buying shell boots I’d want them to pay some more attention to the details, but with these being all black (except the sole stitching) none of that is really noticeable and can be easily “fixed” with product

On to the boots: Pictures online don't do them justice; I've got some nice Danners and a pair of Red Wing Iron Rangers, but these are very obviously different. They're more substantial, and the finish work, stitching, etc

 looks only second to what you might find in Aldens/Vibergs, etc. I can only guess, as I will never own or make any efforts to see those.  Boot fit, for me, is tricky: I want boots that fit out of the box a little snugly, so that they have room to stretch. But, with a leather sole, I wanted them to be roomy enough to fit light orthotics for a little added comfort

 I got the SD's in 9.5ee and I think they're right where they should be, or at least as close as boots can be given such parameters as thick socks, medium socks, orthotics or no, etc. The toe box is roomy, and this is a wider EE than RW's. I don't notice any horizontal movement, and with light orthotics, these boots are pretty snug

These are the nicest Chromexcel boots I've found for the money. I fell in love with this leather when I found a deal on some Danner/Tanner Goods boots some years back. They broke in and shaped in a way that I hadn't experienced before. I wore them daily, and still wear them often; on their second set of soles, they're the most comfortable boots or shoes I've ever owned

Great Pair of Boots

 These are basically their "semi-dress" model which means they are fine for casual or dress-casual environments, especially what we tend to see today. They feature White's "arch ease" system which is great for people with moderate to high arches and will take some getting used to and breaking in for those with flat feet or low arches.
