 The underwire is very stiff and digs into my skin even though I bought the same size i wear for all other bra brands/the size that fits my measurements. And i feel that the mesh fabric is fragile and will probably lead to unreparable tears. I don't wear it very often.

Well it just came in and I just tried it on and I have to say WOW, I am now a believer! This is my first bra ever that doesn’t make my side boob/armpit fat worse, and actually holds up. The wire goes all the way under my whole boob and doesn’t cut it off or anything. I’ve never experienced anything like this living in Southeast Asia, where sometimes bras are sold only by band size (cups are all the same). I’m a convert

 Only from very snug to comfortably snug like most bras do. I will say their size quiz gave me the wrong size so if you know your size from the calculator or from a professional use that size instead. I've only had mine for a few months but it's holding up well with hand washing and laying flat to dry.

Has anyone tried Cuup bras? I saw an ad on Snapchat and I was curious what the consensus was because I hadn't heard of them before; I've not heard of some brands mentioned here before but hadn't seen this one mentioned here.

The main issue with all of these bras is the underwire. It is *so* wide! I'm not super comfortable uploading a picture, so I'll try my best to explain the fit of the Plunge, my favorite of the three bras. The gore tacks (amazing! I've never worn anything that does this before). My breasts fit almost perfectly in the cups - no obvious spillage and only slight wrinkling at the top of my slightly smaller breast

The gore on the 30F doesn't tack, and I get some quadboob, so I believe it's too small in the cup. However, it's their Scoop style, and I wouldn't mind having a bra that gives me some cleavage, so I might keep it depending on this fit check.

I chose Cuup for their sustainability practices and ease of access in the US, and I *really* want these bras to work.

I've read that Cuup and some other bra manufacturers have design flaws in their outside-of-average sizes because they expect the cup shape to be exactly the same for everybody who has a G. So my understanding is that I will probably not find a bra that fits perfectly in the underwire with Cuup. But I (and my boyfriend) love this bra, so I wanted to ask the community: Does a bra with super wide underwire like this provide adequate support? I read in the wiki that some people get along fine with their underwire being too wide, but I'm wondering if having the underwire almost at my back will cause issues with support and weight distribution.

The scoop style's straps are too wide-set on me. This might be excellent for someone else? But on me they dug into my tail of Spence really bad, to the point where the scoop bra was a NOPE immediately. [Picture of me pointing where the strap digs in]([URL REMOVED] TBH the triangle bra's straps are kinda wide-set on me, too; but they don't dig in unless I criss-cross the straps (even loosened all the way).  I really like that they don't have any kind of molded cup/foam at all; the cups are just two layers of that soft fabric with a dart on each cup.

I tried Cuup bras and they did not work for me. I’m in between sizes 32FF/34E UK and tried the Scoop bra in 32H & 34G. The 34 band fit, but the cup shape was all wrong. 

Hi, I was wondering if folks on this sub had experience with online companies like these, since most of the recommendations seem geared towards traditional european brands. While those brands seem to fit well and are well constructed, they don't really fit my style and the style of these other brands are more appealing (I really like plain/unadorned bras in fun colors).

If anyone has tried them, I was wondering if they had any recommendations or what would work based on my fit? My best fitting bra is a panache envy 32F, followed by curvy kate victory x bra in 32E. Both of these bras are a little borderline in the cup, I'm probably a half size down for both of them (tried the smaller size and bulged out a bit, but a bit of wrinkling in the curvy kate). I have a fairly projected shape with shallow roots/bottom heavy? Aka very curved underwires hurt me (so shallower is better), and I seem to have trouble filling out the tops of moulded bras.

So I guess in short, have you 1) tried these bras before and if so 2) how do they compare to panache/curvy kate/etc?

Experience with new companies like Cuup and ThirdLove?

You need a full cup or a balconette, plunge is making your boobs look sad because they're tumbling forward. Side support would be good to hoist things up a bit. I concur with u/MySocialAlt that Elomi Cate and Goddess Keira would be a good choice , they're both good well shaped bras with wide underwires and side support, both give a nice rounded look.

Last year I lost \~100lbs and needed a bra but after doing a simple measurement via Cacique/Torrid to see what size I was, I landed at a 40H (US). Purchased a few torrid bras and they picked the girls up and sucked me in and I was super happy. Over time though, I realized that my breasts were overflowing a bit from the cups when scooping them or adjusting them in place. This became more noticeable underneath some clothing and as I was wearing it throughout the day.

This is where the ABTF calculator came in. I gave it a try and to my surprise after measuring multiple times I got 38HH or a US 38L. I knew that I likely needed at least one cup size but wow. Anyway, I purchased an Allegro brand bra that is unlined with underwire in the size I got from the calculator. When I received it I was kind of disappointed, but being a completely boob noob I really couldn't place what the actual issue was. I figured maybe if I posted some of my thoughts here, maybe someone could give me an idea of what I need to do. Do I need a different cup/band size? Different style of bra? I have no idea and I'm a bit bummed.

Notes about myself/breasts:

\- I am 5'1 with a short torso.

\- I have pendulous breasts.

\- After looking at some information from ABTF's reddit, my breasts seem to have broad roots. In terms of tall/short I'm not sure. 

Info about the new bra I purchased after using the calc:

\- It didn't give much shape to my breasts.

\- The bra was marketed to be plunge but it seemed more full coverage, almost as if I didn't fill them out properly and I have a sinking suspicion the cups might actually be a little too big. However, it was hard for me to tell because of the unlined cups. (I feel dumb saying this, but I don't know any better way to explain haha.)

\- The underwire was hurting my chest, but there seemed to be just the right amount of room in the band. The band itself sat well and nothing was bulging out on the sides or back and the straps sat comfortably/where they should and were not digging in. It was just the underwire in itself that was just awkward and uncomfortable.

(40H to 38L) Confused as to what to do after using ABTF Calc.

 I can tell that my bra is actually supporting my boobs, instead of just sitting around the front of them and pulling at my neck & shoulders. I bought some extra of each in 42H & 42HH to see if I would notice a difference with slightly smaller cups.

Goddess Keira UK 36FF (top picture) cup fit seems good. Not super comfortable the wire comes too far back and the bra too far up and irritates my armpits. It fits the best but I’m self conscious of the crazy thick seams you can see through T-shirt’s. Anything that fits similar with not so crazy seams?
