It is really, really a great solution style for a lot of women and a great basic for everyone.

HELP! Really struggling to find a good fit bra for my shape

That would be my first reccomendation and then take it from there. Elomi Kim and Elomi Jodi are two bras that are currently being sold for a good price on amazon in last year's colours. They'd be available in other online stores as well.

Feels good

At 25 weeks pregnant I needed a new daily style bra. This fits great. The gore sits comfortably and I like the lined cups.

Elomi Kim—horrific on me. Huge despite getting it in 34J. Gore was too wide, wires were too narrow, cups were massive, straps slid off my shoulders.

I will never go back to the days of those shallow, styrofoam cup-like bras of my past!. However, the bras I grabbed from Amazon (Elomi Kim & Sachi and Panache Envy) are all impossible to wear with a sleeveless shirt because of their extreme sideboob/axillary tail coverage. Like another recent poster, I would love to wear some summer dresses and tanks, but at this point, I'd settle for a sleeveless shirt that doesn't have to choke my armpit to hide my bra!

The bra you tried is molded. The limitations of technology mean that a molded bra will tend to be taller, wider, and shallower than most bras made with pieces of fabric sewn together for the cups. A taller, wider bra than you need may seem too big. You might try the Elomi Kim or Panache Serene for something more average in shape, and to see if you need something narrower and more projected.

Projection help for pendulous, deflated breasts?

The Elomi Kim with side support arrived Friday. It’s like it was custom made for me. It has a shorter gore and cups and appears less wide set. The only drawback is the seams showing under T-shirts, but the shape and amazing lift make up for that.
