 The sheath has plastic dividers to hold the 3 extra blades individualy so there is no rattling and the blade edges don't get damaged. I don't typically carry this on my belt when I'm hunting as it is a bit bulky and heavy. I usually have it in the rear pocket of my vest or in my daypack depending on what I'm wearing. I ordered the gut hook blade from Case for $10

 All of the blades fit nice and snug, open smoothly and lock up tight. There is no play or wobble. Note that the filet/utility blade has no nail slot so it takes a bit of extra care to open/close that blade without cutting a finger. The sheath has the same high quality as the knife so there was no skimping here

  The one thing that puzzles me is why Case chooses to sell these in two different 4 blade configurations. One with the filet blade (actually labeled Utility) and one with the gut hook. I wish that they would just sell them in a 5 blade set and let the consumer pick the 3 blades that they want to carry in the sheath. Just add a few dollars to the price

 The fit and finish is perfect. The blades were shaving sharp out of the box and easy to change. All of the blades fit nice and snug, open smoothly and lock up tight. There is no play or wobble

A great knife.  This is my second one.

 If you are old or arthritic your hands may not have the strength to press the lever all the way down and hold it while removing the blade. Then repeat the process again to put in another blade. Quite painful for me. I can get it done but it takes too much effort

My only complaint is that it takes great effort to push the lever down to change the ...

 Well made and sharp. Came with the gut hook as advertised. Sturdy and we'll constructed. Love it

Shirogorov Hation Zero  Pocketknife. Fablades Quick Review

 Nice knife enough knife enough to send in to me um. These are going to kyle dtom, knives and gear neck. So i wanted to kind of wrap this up, i'm just going to review them both at the same time because they're, both shiro's they're, both in the same line. This is the atr, and this is the heitian zero, so very similar just kind of a scaled down version of this

 It kind of has a little more of a swoop up and then that tip kind of straightens out. I feel like this one is more of a straight little belly and then up into that tip. I don't know if it's just me, but it just looks a little different on that blade shape more of a swoop in the top here as well. This is more of a straight line to the drop point um

 Are these knives 700 800 worth of knife? Yes, what goes into them the materials the fit and finish, i'm seeing here, the absolutely ridiculous action, the blade the the heat treat that i understand uh the cutting ability, which is very good on these, a good edge on it, uh pretty thin behind the edge it Cuts through paper very well uh, that's all i cut with it. So i can't speak to more than that, but i don't think most people are beating on their shiros um. You know, so i think value is just it's just the eye of the beholder type thing. Um, if you want a shiro and love shiro's

 I'M left-handed and i have no issues playing with this knife. Um. So no big deal left-handed. You can flick it out, just disengage, let it drop flick

Shirogorov Hati R & Hation Zero Full Review

 So it's a non-issue for me. But I have heard some rumors that that existed on some other Neons or Hations. It doesn't on mine, luckily. Yep, what else was I going to cover? We've got pricing

 Good afternoon Knife Nerds, today we are taking a look at the beautiful Shirogorov Hoteon Zero. This knife has an overall length of 7.75 inches and a blade length of 3.375 inches

 Now to me, this is like practically in grail territory at $700. I can't go out and drop $1,500 on knives unless I do some kind of massive layaway payment plan because I'm one of the poor guys. So for me, when I purchase a knife that costs an excessive amount of money to me, $700, I really want everything to be very, very perfect on that knife. And this Shirogorov Hation Zero has hit that mark for me with flying colors in nearly every single aspect

 The build quality is superb. There are no problems. There is no play. There is no bad blade centering issues, no lock rock, no lock slip

 Good afternoon Knife Nerds, today we are taking a look at the beautiful Shirogorov Hoteon

 This knife has an overall length of 7.75 inches and a blade length of 3.375 inches.

 It is M390 steel, it is a titanium frame lock, and it has a carbon fiber show side and a

 titanium frame scale with a carbon fiber inlay.

 So onto the aesthetics of this knife, which I think are absolutely stunning.

 Let's talk about the blade here for a minute.

 The finish on this blade, with my terrible lighting if you can see that, is this amazing

 I'm not sure I've ever seen another company that accomplishes a bead blast quite like

 It's almost like it was ultra fine bead blasted and then somewhat polished, perhaps with walnut

 I don't really know how to explain it other than to show you that there is a slight bit

 So it's very different than other companies type of bead blast that I've seen in the past.

 I think it's sort of similar to like Konig, what they call their, I want to say they call

 it bright, no not bright washed, they call it burnished.

 They call it a burnished finish, and to me it looked like a bead blasted finish that

 I'm just going to get this dust off the blade here.

 Polished in a tumbler, but I don't think Konig executes it quite as good as Shira Goroff

 And so you've got a flat ground blade that is fairly thin behind the edge here, and you

 do have some very attractive jimping on the spine of the blade here, however it is not

 If you dig into it with your thumb, it still doesn't really add any traction.

 It is an aesthetic jimping, and I'm okay with that.

 This is not a hard use knife, I don't need to bear down on it.

 So no big deal, it's a really cool looking jimping.

 There is sort of a light sweeping swedge throughout the length of the blade up to about the last

 inch, where the swedge stops and the blade tip thickens back to the full stock thickness

 there, to add some robustness to that tip, because it is a rather dainty tip, and give

 it a little bit of strength behind that.

 And so I really like that thought process behind thickening that spine behind the tip

 M390 font, a little bit loud, not real thrilled with that.

 It's just rather big and in your face on this blade that is otherwise, you know, pretty

 And of course, the Shergaroff bear logo is always super cool looking.

 And onto the carbon fiber, we do have a highly detailed 3D milling pattern, which may not

 show up the best in this camera angle, but it's kind of a swoosh that goes like this,
