 So, basically, as long as you haven't rolled over it or chopped it with something they're going to guarantee it for the lifetime of the product overall, it's a really really nice finish on the blade. You'Ve got a stone wash finish so you're not going to see you're not going to see scratches or marks very easily on this knife. I actually like the stone wash finish. It'S it's a little bit different overall um

 It'S 122 grams really light knife for a knife with a blade, this size, very nice and lightweight. So you can see if you were moving around trying to cut things up vegetables and all that sort of stuff. It'S very nice to use really really nice to use. It has a deep carry pocket clip on the back, so you've got a stainless steel

 It is assisted, it's got a spring in here, that's how quickly it opens up. As far as the steel goes, these brackets are made with hcr 13 mov steel, which is a stainless good steel for sharpening it's going to hold an edge pretty well, it's got good edge retention. The length of the blade on this is 3.4 inches, so it's a decent sized blade or 8

 The other side. You'Ve got a really really good. Uh sort of it's a glass filled nylon. It'S got a really good grip to it

 I’m a fan of the acid wash on the metal. The big deal breaker for me are these, the lock is not supported, it is an open frame on the lock side, with a bunch of material removed and nothing sandwiching it or secured to that side of the frame to maintain rigidity. So it has flex, and I have a heavy suspicion that it will start bending and probably break with a side load or twisting force to the blade. The spring assist is pretty weak

It’s cool but super lite duty

75 inches overall, with a nice g10 front scale makes it nice and textured super grippy and then just the stainless back scale. I love that they use the frame lock on here instead of a typical liner, i'm always a bigger fan of that. That style weighs it a nice, 4.3 ounces, so definitely edc friendly, so make sure to get yours today at bladeops

4 inch, cleaver blade. I don't know about you, but i love that cleaver style, nice, big chunky, big old, cutting edge on there. I just love how how durable it is and how much work you can get out of these blade. Styles, it's about 7

Kershaw Bracket

 Not very sharp out of the box. Holding the knife doesn't feel best in hand. The price is low, so if your looking for something cheap it is worth a buy, but I personally would not buy again if I had it to do over.

 I'm not looking for like the super steels, that expectations versus reality, right? We have to keep it real here on the channel. But I feel that you get a lot of value for what you get in this blade. And Kershaw seems just to be hitting it out of the park with a lot of their designs. Now there's folks that are going to be in the camp where you just don't like them

I know that it's crazy times and I don't want to break the bank. I know everyone's working hard for their money and you're just trying to get the best bang for the buck

 Just a beautiful looking blade. Well let's bring it back full circle and let's get some final thoughts on the Kershaw bracket. Like I said in the intro, I really was drawn to that cleaver design. The steel really didn't matter too much to me based on the price in that $50 to $60 price range

 Hi folks, today we're going to be talking about folding knives, so stick around.

 First off, rule number one, if you're going to go into a gun shop, just go straight in,

 get where you're going to get, come right back out.

 That's just my little PSA, save you a ton of money.

 But it's always fun to find these little nuggets that are hiding out inside these small mom

 Now let's talk about the bracket here real quick.

 Let's talk a bit about some of the features that drew me to this knife.

 First off, that cleaver design, just a beautiful looking design.

 That's a stone wash and it's made out of 8 CR13 MOV.

 I've tested a lot of knives with that steel and I've said it a hundred times, it's all

 If you get the heat treat right, just about any steel will perform.

 Now Kershaw is a pretty reputable company and I'm sure that they put a lot of thought

 I've been using this now for about a month.

 Next up you've got a nice forward choil and a finger guard you can choke up, do some tight

 Now slide down here, this is what they call the speedstaff assist.

 And at first, I was a little bit hesitant about that because I'm always worried about

 a knife deploying in my pocket, I don't want to get cut.

 But I can honestly say that I haven't had an issue over the past month at all.

 It's really good retention and the knife has to open about a third in order for that spring

 to deploy and to get that assist in the opening.

 Next up we got G10 scales, nice black scales textured, looks really nice.

 On the back side you have a pocket clip.

 Now the pocket clip will fit either on the right or left side.

 But keep in mind that this knife is a tip up carry in your pocket.

 There's folks out there that are adamant, they just do not like tip up carry.

 If that's your bag, then this knife is not for you.

 Now it has a nice generous frame lock and as you guys can see, it has a pretty good

 purchase in there, about half the width of the blade.

 And I felt really secure with this, I had no problem at all.

 Now I'm not sure what they're using for the bearings.

 I'm sure that it's probably some sort of ceramic bearing.

 It was really smooth and the more that I seem to use it, the smoother it seems to get.
