Being an engineer by training, I did extensive research on which juicer to buy. I'd like to share why I chose this one, and it's pros and cons -- so that I can hopefully save some of you some time. My two biggest criteria for selection were: #1- The juicer had to extract the MAXIMUM JUICE from the food, and #2 - The juice had to be EASY TO CLEAN. I figured that if the juicer was not easy to clean, I would not use it

Of course that didn’t do it. The only way was to dump all the pulp out, wasting the remaining juice, cleaning out the spinning part and the pout before I could do more oranges. It wasn’t even one full cup! There was no way for me to make decent amount of juice without having to clean it very two or three oranges. Sadly it is going back

The result is a better juice than I got with the centrifuge type. More juice and less wet pulp. So far so good. I will update in a month or so to see if I am still as happy maybe put another star or take a star away

I have an Omega VSJ843 and I love it. It’s so easy to clean and you don’t have to chop food up too small. It’s also very efficient and has been shown to extract more juice than others in some side by side comparisons.

For an inexpensive juicer, it has certainly done a good job. My husband and daughter must drink lemon juice because of kidney stones in the past, so this has made the job easier and they have had no more stones since starting this regimen.

I have been juicing centrifuge for over 40 yrs and I am healthy. I have a $600 Champion masticating do not use it 4 same reason as this juicer I returned.
