Anemic Convenience

 Has a long nozzle and a flat nozzle. Didn't come with a brush nozzle but an inexpensive universal one fits perfectly. I have always hated vacs but love this one. Like the flat base that doesn't tip over like the silly little Shop Vac (designed by someone who's never used a vac)

Bought the first one for our 50 foot sailboat, because we're always working on it and get lots of wood dust, chips and other debris all over. Got the 4A 20V lithium batteries (buy separately) and they hold a charge for a very long time. Suction is great, appreciate the way the hose wraps around the top and clicks into place.

We purchased this because we were already invested into the V20 system and constantly have a need for a vacuum outdoors where cords are difficult.  Positives: - Battery powered and feels like high quality materials. - Long and We’ll-constructed suction hose - One-button, easy to operate  Negatives: -The vacuum is a box-shape which makes it difficult to hold while vaccuming. You have to place it on the ground and then use it

  If you don’t already have the V20 investment then don’t buy this vacuum. There are much better options for functionality, price and battery-life

As the title says, poor suction. I suppose that’s to be expected with a battery powered vacuum, but wow.

 With that said this thing is impressive I let it run 15 min. it used 1 bar on a 4.0 AH it is light weight and very convenient not having to deal with a cord, LOL you will find your self cleaning places you would never have thought to have, The hose is i thought really nice to work with soft flexible rubber not the hard plastic hose but I am sure if you step on it, well it will shorten its life.

I really like the suction, it sucked the dust out of my carpets in my RV. I do not like the fact that Battery was not sold with at that price. Shark IZ462H Vertex Duoclean Cordless Vacuum

I just bought my first vacuum and I got the Shark IZ462H Vertex Duoclean Cordless Vacuum. 

Initially I really liked this Vacuum, since I live in an apartment. It was convenient and cleaned hardwood floors as well as carpet. 

However, one day when I was vacuuming my carpet it started shocking me out of nowhere. These electric shocks are really annoying and kind of painful. I like having my area clean, especially floors, but these shocks put me off from using the vacuum. 

I'm really sad about this, because I like this vacuum. Is there anything I can do to avoid getting shocked? Is it just my vacuum that is defective?

Cordless Shark Duoclean Vacuum Keeps Electric Shocking my Hand.

Self-propelling function makes it incredibly easy to use, much easier than vacuums or sweeping. 

 Despite not having the roller brush, the B7 motorhead was decent on hard floors, at least on small particles of dirt. However, it tends to kick debris behind the brush, particularly stuff like pet leader and quinoa. You can't use it for cleaning large and extra large debris like Cheerios and Fruit Loops because it lacks the clearance and it also struggles with large piles of dirt. It did fairly well in the sand on hard floor tests, picking up 99

93 percent in three tests, which is still a decent score for a vacuum at this price point. It was also much better at cleaning large and extra large particles of dirt on carpet than on hard surfaces, picking up most of it in the forward pass, so the results on carpet coincide with a slight uptick in airflow at the nozzle. The bad news is you have to empty it often as it has a small dust container with only a 0.53 liter capacity which is almost the same volume as the V8

 Speaking of 100 in seven of the eight service degrees tests I did, and it had better overall averages than the V8. However, it wasn't as good at deep leaning carpet compared to the V8, picking up an average of 94.93 percent in three tests, which is still a decent score for a vacuum at this price point. It was also much better at cleaning large and extra large particles of dirt on carpet than on hard surfaces, picking up most of it in the forward pass, so the results on carpet coincide with a slight uptick in airflow at the nozzle

To conclude this review, the V7 Motorhead is a compelling option inside smaller homes because of its compact size and high end performance on carpet. It won't deep clean as well as its more expensive siblings like the V8, V10 or V11, but it's decent enough for daily vacuuming

Dyson V7 Motorhead Cordless Vacuum Review [Great on Carpet]

 Now we're in a bigger place with a couple of rooms that have new, thick, higher pile carpet, and the stick vac can't hang with the carpet. We're gonna keep the stick vac anyway (it still works great and is handy for lots of things), but we need something for cleaning the carpets and to handle pet hair, since we'd like to adopt cats. Bagless preferred but not strictly required. If it can handle the hardwood too, that'd be cool but it's also not strictly required

 Including Dyson, they are poor durability and short longevity. Everything is proprietary; nobody else can manufacture replacement or aftermarket parts and service is tightly controlled.  My experience, having been drawn in by the performance now three times is that Dyson carefully designs in obsolescence just beyond the warranty period. Each of my Dyson vacuums have lasted only months beyond the warranty
