Columbia Silver Ridge Cargo Shorts vs Rapha Core

I am 5'10" and wear a 32" waist. I have to wear these very low on the waist in order to sit comfortably, to prevent a death grip on my crotch. I would return them but Dickies are the only high-rise shorts I know, but those are thick and not suited for warm weather. These shorts are very comfortable and totally carefree - can pull right out of the dryer and wear them! They are also very cool in the heat of summer. Another benefit is that they appear to be stain resistant. I've spilled red wine on them and, because they are so thin, water takes the wine right out before they stain. Only caveat - be careful to use a low setting on an iron!!! The first pair I had fell victim to a cotton setting - which was really my fault
