Because of the rounded shape, the tong edge does not run flush with the grill rack so I found myself almost having to scoop up the meat (like using a spoon) because the rounded part of the tong lifted the tong edge off the grill not allowing the edge of the tongs to easily slide under the meat when you're going to grab it to flip it. Cooking bone in meats such as wings or ribs or a hearty stew, I'm guessing these tongs would work perfectly, but for grilling steaks and burgers, a spatula shaped tong is a must have

Great quality overall,  but...

 Allow you much better control than the ridiculously long and clumsy that are designed for the grill. I would recommend washing them by hand. I had a previously pair that was very similar that the handles came apart from being put in the dish washer while the tongs still functioned perfectly.

Great for grilling a couple times but now they're coming loose and the handles turn when trying to use them. The tongs themselves don't stay straight either. They want to go up and over the other one when trying to grab something. Very annoying

 It helps in getting to items near the edge of a skillet or in a small skillet where the space is limited. It also then doubles as a squeegee scraper when I'm emptying contents prior to cleaning. Particularly helpful in keeping scrambled eggs together. Doesn't work as well to scrape off the bottom bits during deglazing but it is becoming the most used flipper which is its advertised use
