I was so excited to try this cream because my body feels tight and dry after my shower and I thought this could help. This product seems to add to the dryness. I have to scoop out a bunch for my skin to feel hydrated, but the problem is, overusing this cream will make you a greasy, oily mess throughout the day. The cream itself feels dry and it's hard to get good coverage from it

Not what it's made out to be

Am: splash of water, Thayer rose water toner, cerave vitamin c, cerave hyaluronic acid serum, cerave eye cream, cerave spf 30. Pm: cerave cream to foam cleanser, thayers toner, (twice a week I use the ordinarys retinol 1% and on alternate days I use Paulas choice 2% sal acid) cerave hyaluronic acid serum, cerave eye cream, cerave in the tub moisturizer!.

32 on October 1st! Finally feeling great about my skin thanks to this sub.

Cerave in the big tub gave me pimples. I went back to FAB ultra repair cream. I’m keeping the cerave for a body cream but never using on the face again.

I never questioned CeraVe because 1. I'd been using tret and needed that extra moisture (I live in the desert) and 2. I could use it from head to toe.

I have been suffering from what I thought was deep, hormonal, cystic acne on my neck, arms and back for well over a year now. It's embarrassing and it's been so painfully awful. I've removed dairy completely from my diet, done Whole30 a few times, tried every topical, gone to very basic skincare (Vanicream cleanser, tret, CeraVe cream and various SPF lotions, including CeraVe spf). I've been to the derm and was prescribed spiroctolane. I ran out of CeraVe on the tub this last time and decided to try something else while getting ready to take Spiro. I wanted to wait until after my second covid vaccine to try that.

Lo and behold, my "hormonal" cystic is nearly gone. It was the damn tub of CeraVe cream that was doing it. I can't believe it. I've never had sensitive skin issues or do I recall breaking out from any one thing before. Now I don't have to get in Spiro for life and my skin is clearing up. I can't believe I never questioned that shit! I have had no issues using any of their other products, FYI.

Cant wait to tell my derm what a dumbass I am.

CeraVe on the tub ... No bueno

I don’t have tons of experience with the Cerave in the tub but enough experience to say that they are so different from each other that I think it’s really hard to conclude that they are really similar in any way. I mean, you might  find that  both turn out to be equally effective for you and they may share some ingredients in common but they texture, feel, and finish are going to be very different. Personally I find them to be just completely different.

I've been using the Perfect Gel for about a year now and my skin loves it. It helped with the Differin irritation and with dehydration in general. It seems to me my skin likes silicones.

I was wondering whether the CeraVe Cream has the same thickness and occlusivity as the Perfect Gel. Has anyone tried both and can compare? I'd still use the Hada Labo Premium Lotion underneath.

 Another thing that you have to be aware of, this is non-comedogenic which means it's not going to clog your pores.  Ive never seen a cream work so fast or as good. My legs were sooo dry for yrs especially the front side for some reason .i used baby oil all kinds of lotions vaseline still dry. I looked on amazon trying to see what had good reviews
