As I said earlier - for $90 you can't expect perfection but this one comes pretty darned close. Quick warm-up, quick print time, and automatic sleep mode. It can take about 8 seconds for your first page to print, but after that it's as fast as any other home laser printer out there.

The ink is such a scam. My family doesn't really need color printing, so a laser jet is a good alternative. Way faster, and higher quality printing. I hope the cartridge replacement isn't just another scam though

I can deal with all that. But the thing runs out of ink quickly, it's really counting pages. I don't know how to reset the counter so I can actually use the ink left in the cartridge like I could on the brother printers, and when I went to look for replacement ink, it's all a rip off. This is a black and white laser printer, the toner costs between $50 to $65 unless you want to pay the $115 for the branded one

I did not try to connect it to the wireless because our wireless is not reliable and I want my printer directly connected to my computer. I will have to return it.
