ok. after much research and reviewing mattress experts online, we decided that the brentwood oceano mattress was a safe bet due to the full year trial period. Ok.

I just got a Tuft & Needle Original queen mattress. Buying and unpacking experience was just fine. Good ship times, easy to get set up, didn't take long to 'plump' out.

Winkbed original, Nolah Evolution, Brooklyn Bedding Aurora all good beds available in multiple firmness options, for less than 2k. They're all better quality mattresses than the Beautyrest, which uses low quality foams in its construction.

Tuft & Needle may just be too firm for me. :( I cannot return it because I purchased through Amazon and the 30 day trial has passed. I want to love this mattress, I think the company has the right idea and is reasonably priced. So at this point, for me, it is an acceptable mattress at a reasonable price

I'm in a ton of pain, had to call out of work already because of it, and am taking a lot of pain meds. This bed is a joke. DON'T BUY IT. oh, and it's several hundred dollars cheaper on their website and you get a better return policy than if you buy it through Amazon

Whenever our 100+lb dog would get up on the end of the bed, it would make my end very firm. That alone was the deal killer for me. I did a lot of research and ultimately went with the Brentwood Oceano hybrid mattress. It is an amazing pillow top mattress that sleep cool also

1. Way cooler than the old memory foam topper. I set my thermostat to 58 at night as i sleep hot. I was always removing covers in in the middle of the night because of the heat retained by the memory foam topper

This is a really good mattress. Very well made, very comfortable. Perhaps a little "squishier" than I am used to , but the old one was like a board so in the long-term, I'm sure I'll adapt. It is a thick mattress - fine for me because I already had the deep corner sheets

-We like a responsive foam that you can change positions without getting stuck in mattress, but also want to be cradled a bit... So some sink in is good
