I put it in my effect loop, right before my chorus pedal, like I did before. It uses your amp's clean preamp to shape the tone- why do you think it has no EQ section? It's because your amp's preamp already shaped your tone, the AG just adds more distortion to it. By using an amp's clean preamp to shape the tone of an effects-loop-distortion-pedal, there is so much more definition and clarity. When one uses the preamp to distort the signal, one loses definition
