 You could really hear the repeats and their individual character when you don't have to follow them left and right with your ears. So let's start off with analog, which really captures that natural grit that happens as the repeats carry out. you warm is another new mode and it just kind of rolls off a little bit of the standard mode so it still gives you a very crystal-clear repeat that doesn't sort of degenerate and get into that self oscillation very easily reverse mode was one of my favorites on the DD-7 if you roll up the effect level to a hundred percent it's just like those old classic backwards solos where you don't hear the dry signal and a cool trick on any mode is if you use output B it actually doubles your delay time so when we get to reverb and delay mode it not only makes the delay sound longer but it also extends the reverb decay you you here's the shimmer delay which I've been really digging lately because you don't really get lost in these extended tails of upper octave it's still very rhythmic and you could just have a couple of repeats but still hear that upper octave effect you you with humbuckers let's check out the modulated mode and here I've done something different I'm using the expression pedal just to control the effect level and the amount of feedback not the delay time so you could actually control one or all three parameters you you you can actually do a similar thing without an expression pedal in the next mode which is warp holding down the foot switch of the pedal itself will increase the feedback and the output you.

 Just like the first ever compact delay, the DD-8 is both straightforward and feature-packed, making it a guaranteed workhorse on any pedal board.
