Between the tap tempo and the expression pedal, there's an insane amount of flexibility that the pedal has - to the point where you'll never miss not having presets. You can adjust on the fly. I've got thousands of gig-hours on mine, and it's typical Boss reliability as well: damn well near bullet-proof.

Typical boss high quality pedal. Only gave it 3 stars because there are many pedals out there that sound just as good with many more features at this price point. Sounds great, as most boss pedals do. Just not very versatile for the money.

I run the DD-7 and RV-6 into the send / receive in the amp. I feel that it gives it such a deeper and richer tone overall for the sound that way. I'm a huge Boss pedal fan. I have some EHX, MXR, and even Digitech but nothing, in my humble and unqualified opinion, matches the quality and reliability of a Boss pedal.

This pedal is great for someone who wants to throw some general delay on their sound but if you want to get intense I would suggest looking at other pedals or rack-mount units. BOSS Vibrato VB-2w, BOSS DD-7 and one cheaper delay. No sign of life at all, and I guess it happened due to some voltage spike or something. I assume curciuts? I have no knowledge at all about electricity but can't afford to pay someone to fix them now.
