I don't know because I have not tested this). So far it has cooked the things I have needed it to. Among other things, I have roasted a whole 7lb + chicken with vegetables and I have the ribs in now (and they smell good!) Anyway, the things I have cooked in the oven have all turned out fine, they just took a bit longer to cook (which I kind of expected of a portable oven anyway). So, I guess my advice would be to evaluate your needs before purchasing this

As far as it functioning as an oven, it's great. It appears to heat things much more evenly/thoroughly than our last one.

And the outside is easy to clean. The parts and features are to my liking. I like having a crumb tray to catch crumbs of course but also any small spills or oozing from cooked food. The all purpose broiler pan is a must

The timer broke on this within a year, but the rest of it kept working. Not terrible quality, but not the best either. Black and Decker is not what it used to be. I would recommend paying a little more for a better quality item

I can fit a 6 cup muffin pan in the oven, and have since started a diet which portions out many meals by cooking single servings in muffin cups. Yes other people have complained about the timer making a ticking bomb noise while it is cooking, but my old one did that too so it doesn't bother me. However this unit also has an "on" spot you can choose, so you could turn it to that and use your own timer without the ticking noise. I personally would rather use the ticking timer because it will shut off the oven when the timer goes off

Aluminum broiling pan is very flimsy. It won't last long as dishwasher will corrode the metal. But the price is good so I'll live with it. Cleaning is not as easy as it could be as interior parts are fixed and not removable

I guess you get what you pay for and next time I will pay more. I have not had a toaster oven in years and have been using a pop up toaster. But this unit is almost the same as the one I used twenty years ago. That's not a complement

So, I write this in hopes that I can convince you to aim for bigger and better convection toaster ovens. Maybe not BIGGER, but, with everything out there, you definitely can do BETTER.

I doubt most people have a large round pan like mine and I can not find a 10 x 8 higher sided pan anywhere. Also, unfortunate, my 10 x 8 grill which would go into a bake pan like the one they provide doesn't quite fit. Just 1 inch more would have earned this a 5 star.

The metal baking sheet is very hard to clean, so I tried using parchment paper, but it burns if you don't keep a close on it, which seems like a fire hazard. The bottom of the oven slides out to empty crumbs and food drips, which makes cleaning it a little easier. Overall, it is okay. I was hoping for more, but it does the job

The Material used in the construction is durable and made of good durable steel and aluminum. It is light weight and easy to carry where ever you feel to take your oven for cooking.

So we will be without a toaster for nearly 2 weeks, and out the shipping cost of sending the plug and the new unit (probably about ten dollars) and the time it’s going to take to do this process. It’s a little irritating that I have to do the legwork since their machine was defective. I can only hope the replacement lasts more than 11 months. Certainly I will be saving all of the paperwork and emails to be ready for it to happen again

I gave this toaster oven five stars because it is very good for the price. However, if you are willing to spend an additional $50 - $100, you can purchase a higher quality, better designed product. --- I am mostlyhappy with this Hamilton Beach 31411. But I would vastly prefer the absence of the bulging back, designed to accommodate a 12" pizza (which I could live without)

The cooking process is a bit different due to the type of heating element and the convection. It took us awhile to get the hang of it, but we use it far more than our expensive (annoying, noisy) GE Cafe gas oven (man I hate that thing). We got confused initially by putting a thermometer in there; it read very hi. But when we cooked, the food didn't burn or cook as fast as you'd expect

Allows me to preheat it for pizza and other baking. Liking it so far. I use the timer on my microwave for baking.

Seems well made. The directions are lacking on how to place the rack and trays but there is a picture in the handouts which give you some idea. The unit is somewhat heavy because of its size and one disadvantage is the power cord which is very short and fed out of one end of the unit. The cord itself is not very much longer than the length of the unit so placement on your counter-top is critical unless you use a heavy duty extension cord which I had to do

Haven't used the toaster settings since I don't use it for toast. Have only used this for one month but have used it more than once per week. Nothing has spilled over so there has been no need yet to clean the oven. This oven is less user friendly than it should be, future designs should correct these deficiencies
