Regarding the question of floor size. Apart from weight, one of motivations for 'upgrading' from my 20 year old tent (that I also loved) was because my partner was insisting on having a bit more interior space, especially for the longer treks. Before purchasing, I measured out the advertised dimensions on my garage floor and saw that my old tent was well inside the boundary limits, the CS UL2 had plenty of extra width and length when compared. And yet on the trail, there wasn't as much space as expected

I cannot tell you how much we loved our Galaxy tent! But the time has come to upgrade to something a bit bigger (we are 5'8 & 6'2).

Customer service is not on par with the price of this equipment. The company has no ability to replace zipper assemblies (the tents are made in China) and the best they could offer was a partial credit towards purchase of a new tent. Guess I'm spoiled by Patagonia's lifetime warranty on their products, where they replace or repair any of their items at no cost.

Rei Kingdom 6p. Nemo Wagontop. If you have the budget stay away from Coleman. For smaller tents I would looks at the Marmot Tungsten, Limelight and Vapor 4p depending on if this is for summer only, 3 season or more colder camping

Sleeping bag -- If I had no other items to improve, I'd buy a quilt, but I don't think I'll have the money left over for it. Bear Spray -- I am more calm and enjoy the trip a lot more when I have the bear spray.

I had a general idea of the size and chose the 6P so it would easily accommodate the queen size blow up mattress that we have, that 10 years ago I would have made fun of us for having, and also enough room for our Labrador retriever who is always muddy and wet to spread out in without getting our stuff wet and muddy. There is also a great screened in porch that is big enough for friends to sit in and hang out in while hiding from the bugs.

A couple of my friends have the previous version of this and having experienced both, the 2020 version has some cool new features:

The extra pockets for storage, the tie backs, the loops to hang lines or more storage. Easy to set up, super sturdy, and super quality. I dont have any complaints.

So light and yet super strong. Love the color. It is super flashy and pretty and makes me feel like more of a camper than I really am.

Simple design and well made. Nice Work Nemo! Looking forward to many years of use on our adventures!
