Beretta hands down. I’d go with a M9A1 or better yet a 92X, M9A3 or M9A4 since the original 92FS and M9 do not have a rail for a pistol light, a light is necessary for home defense. So I’ll be turning 21 in April so about 5 months from now and I’ve shot both guns but can’t decide what one to choose but I only have the money to pick one or the other. I don’t know a whole lot about firearms since I’m only now starting to get into this amazing hobby. I do know that firing a M9 is going to be cheaper in the long run because 9mm bullets are cheaper then  .45 acp. So I’ve come to the experts (Y’all) to see what your opinions are to help me decide. Can’t decide between 1911 and M9 Beretta

 Now at this point I get asked to convert that price into all kinds of currencies, dollars, yens, euros etc. Well I don't do it because the rate changes daily and they often have different shipping costs in different countries which makes it a complete pointless exercise really. In sum up this is a quality item and beautifully made. We all have our favourite styles and replicas so it may not be for everyone

 Moving all the others to one side for now and looking at this new version. The specs are the overall length is 225mm with a 112mm barrel and tops the scales at a handful of powerhouse feel of 108kg and you do feel every gram of that in the hand. It has an 18 round magazine and a claimed velocity of 130 meters per second which equates to a maximum of around 426 feet per second. Let's do a quick walk around, shall we? From the front the first thing you notice is the protruding barrel to be able to fit a silencer moderator suppressor

 They are up there with the best of the CO2 pistol manufacturers with regard to quality and ultimate longevity. It is quite rare to have one go wrong. It can happen as with anything but it is pretty rare. Certainly, in my experience, they are a German company and even though they may from time to time have these made elsewhere they still seem to maintain that German quality requirement

 You see, the weight is there but there is no kick or blowback and it just leaves that all-important interaction missing. So along came the M9A3 in BB form and lo and behold they had the blowback action that was so missing from the pellet version. But it didn't have that all-important weight about it to finish that overall feel. Now there is the 92A1 in black and that does have the weighty feel to it but no moderator thread at end

 Okay. That thing is spot on. It is deadly accurate. The single action pull is so much lighter than the double action pull

 And it also has a manual safety, if you wanted to install it, you could change that from the decocker to the safety, and then you can carry it cocked and locked, like a 1911, and then drop it down when you go to shoot, it would be a safety instead of a decocker. All right, let's go ahead and load these mags up. I may even have a little surprise for you, and we'll see if we can hit some steel with it. All right, now that we've got it all loaded up with Federal Syntec 150 grain, nine millimeter, let's go ahead and take the absolute first shots

 I wanted to go ahead and get this unbox done and the review done, because I went ahead and ordered an Amicarbo spring kit, which is supposed to reduce the double action and single action pull dramatically, which that'll be in another video, which you can look in the... CZ P07 Review

 You're still grabbing the frame. Yeah. So if you're press checking the issue you run into, like this is what I would normally, I'm doing what I would normally do and I can't do it because my, my thumb and my palm are indexing that frame. Now it's like, I can't fault the gun for that

 And it just kind of, it makes it, yeah, you have to like really sit down on that. Yeah. You're still grabbing the frame. Yeah

 Yeah. Cause there's not as much reciprocating mass. So of course the gun should shoot pretty flat. Yeah

 The downside to that is the thickness of this rail here makes it literally impossible to press check whatsoever. Unless you're press checking from the rear, which I don't like to do. And it just kind of, it makes it, yeah, you have to like really sit down on that. Yeah

CZ P-07:  Made Our Jaw Drop

 Welcome to Firearms of America. Today I am back here at Shooters in Fort Myers, Florida about to do the review of another CZ. And this is the CZ P07 chambered in 9mm, 3.7 inch barrel, 15 double stack capacity magazine

 Now like I said, the slide is a little bit on the tighter side, not too crazy tight, but you definitely feel it, it is smooth though, it feels very very nice and smooth. One thing that I wanted you to check out here is, check out this slide release, it is kind of huge, so I know some people might be a little bit turned off by this, but it works very good, it's very easy to operate, now you probably are wondering what is this thing on the back right here, is that the thumb safety, no it isn't, it is just the decocker, so what you are doing is, you are pulling this down and now your pistol, your trigger is in double action, pretty good, so this is a single double action handgun, variety, it's good, why not. So let's put 5 more rounds through it and then we will talk more about the trigger, about the size and I am going to try to hit those flappy pedals this time right there, hopefully I am not going to embarrass myself like I did with that P365 sig, that had this weird new sight that I am not impressed with at all, alrighty so, I love it, it's great, let's see and of course I am going to shoot all of this in single action because that's what you want to do if you want to be more accurate right, double action is more for safety purposes, but we will talk about it later, let's see if I can hit those flappy pedals, didn't want to turn, but at least I got them, alrighty so, let's talk about the trigger, so right now as you can see the hammer is cocked all the way back, so that means we have our trigger in single action and check it out, it's very nice, very smooth, we have about good 5 millimeters of safe familiar travel and then we have a crisp break, very good, but let's check out the double action, let's see what we can do here in double action, so in order to engage the double action which can be useful for concealed carry if you are carrying this gun, which makes the trigger harder to pull because it does the double action instead of single action which is pulling the hammer all the way back, so it's not that easy to fire it right, it's not so easy for it to go off, but we do have our about 3 millimeters now of the familiar travel and then the action starts, trigger is much much harder to pull, still the same travel, but now it is much harder to pull because you do have the double action going with the hammer being cocked, I think that's a great feature, especially considering that there is really no additional safety here at all, like for example some kind of thumb safety that likes to trigger or likes to slide or does whatever with like 1911, speaking of the beaver tail here, I wanted to mention that the new CZ comes with the kit where you can change, kind of like a newer glocks now, these days where you can change and make your grip a little bit fatter if you have bigger hands, pretty good, and of course I already mentioned that there is a second magazine included, alright, so the final thing that I wanted to mention here is let's talk about the sights, sure nothing here, it's your standard 3 dot regular sight, very easy to get used to, I absolutely love it, the rear sight is adjustable as you can see and your slide is, here's the thing with the CZ, it's kind of a little bit of CZ unique type of thing, they have a very thin slide and a little bit of a fatter frame whenever it comes to the top part of the gun in general, so the grip kind of will be similar to Beretta where you don't have a lot of space for a grip, so it's going to be more sometimes these two fingers, probably would take a little bit more effort to, I mean you can do it this way as well, but I do like the fact that they included the front serrations as well if you want to do that, of course you have your accessory rail if you want to put some flashlight or laser if you are into that kind of stuff and you probably noticed that there are some serrations, some aggression on the trigger guard here in case if this is your grip, so overall I think it's a pretty good gun, especially if you're considering for home defense, I mean you just can't beat the 15 capacity magazine would be comparable to your Glock 19, very similar, definitely would not be any less of the quality compared to a Glock, CZs they know how to make guns, great guns, especially if you prefer the external hammer for, I don't know, whatever reason, if you prefer the external hammer you're going to like, appreciate this gun, the recoil hand barely really even feel the recoil because of the tighter spring and overall weight you definitely, there's a nice weight to the gun, even though the frame is plastic your slide does add up to the weight, so let me know guys in the comments below what you think about the CZ P07, would you consider it maybe as your concealed carry option or even better as your home defense handgun, drop your comments below, if you have any requests you can drop them there as well, I always look out for those and if I come across the stuff I do that as a priority, thank you very much guys for watching, this was Firearms of America, I'll see you guys in the next video.
