M1 Garand 20th Anniversary

 Hickok 45 here. It's another anniversary, a special one. Yes, so special. I'm going to shoot that

 orange two-liter right away, and that red plate right away. Oh boy, hits it hard.

 It must be a.30-06. Let's try that cinder block over there. Oh boy. That's what I like to see.

 What's the matter? I can't miss. Yes, it is a 20th anniversary that I have owned this rifle.

 We're not talking about 20th anniversary for the M1 Garand or anything. Y'all are smarter than that,

 right? But I bought this gun 20 years ago, and that's a good excuse to bring it out and shoot

 it, right? And we want to thank BudsGunShop.com for all the help they give us in so many ways.

 gunsmithing. Work on things like this. Check it out. And then also federal ammunition. We

 might fire a couple of rounds of federal. This we're firing, actually, some old Lake City

 firing modern ammo in these. I'm a little wary of some of it, but anyway, appreciate federal

 premiums assistance, you know, in almost every video. So I'm going to kind of load it again.

 and all legal. And we picked this one out of out of three. And John was so delighted. And so was I

 because it's been a good one. It has. So we thank you, Mr. Grant. Oh, 20 years enjoyed this old

 warhorse made in 1943. So it's all action. Seeing action today, isn't it? How about that red play

 as I have spoken about many times, they're just so special because they're, you know, not everybody

 can have an M4 select fire these days. You know, the same rifle that maybe your brother or you

 or dad carried in Afghanistan or somewhere, you know, in Iraq. It's hard to own something

 like that. Almost impossible, isn't it? The exact guns that were used by the military.

 But back in the day when there were semi-auto or bolt actions and still really cool firearms

 and very durable and reliable, you know, these surplus firearms, you know, we can own the actual

 firearms that were carried in Europe or wherever. Philippines or in the Pacific theater, just

 wherever. North Africa, the 45s, the 1911s, you know, and these, the Autry Springfields and

 M1 carbines and those things. So it's one reason the prices keep going up on them. They're like

 real estate, right? So anyway, it's a celebration. We should have baked a cake, but we didn't do it.

 20 years ago, I remember it well. I remember, I see the fellow occasionally at gun shows and around.

 Nice guy. He's a gun collector. And I remember that day very well where we were, he was parked

 and looking at the firearms and John being excited and me being excited to have a Garand.

 It was my second Garand. The first go-round, I had trouble with that one. I had trouble.

 I really had trouble with this one. So anyway, I appreciate y'all coming by to help us celebrate

 the 20th anniversary, 20th year that I have owned this firearm, which means it was when
