If a bag material is not comfortable to handle, I don't use it, the bag ends up taking space in my closet. Size was another issue: I can fit my iPhone 11 Pro Max and Ray-Ban sunglasses in the case, but when I hung the pack around my shoulders or waist, the strap automatically pulled the pack smaller. The Ray-Ban sunglasses case is made of soft leather with only one rigid side for protection, so my sunglasses were compressed that one temple was hooked under the nosepiece--I had difficulty freeing the temple as I was worried about damaging my sunglasses. Hard cases might work better with this pack, but the Oakley cases I have are too big to fit; if they did, they would create unsightly bulges that break the streamlined look of the pack

The main compartment has a velco opening that seem very childish as well to add to the size issue. Other models have strap locks which I feel is an overall better option. As good as the quality overall is, the size difference was the dealbreaker above all for me. It’s a wonderful bag otherwise if you plan to have a sidebag for your phone

I bought this bag to be an extension of my pockets and a step-down from my backpack. I got sick of carrying a 20L backpack with 5 things on some days. Most days I carry my phone + mag safe charging pack, an iPad Pro 11 + charger, AirPods Pro a slim wallet with three cards, hand sanitizer, a pack of wet butt wipes (nothing beats a fresh feeling ass tbh), a stethoscope and a Topo designs mini accessory pouch (contains spare contacts, eye drops, bandages, a shoe wipe and a body wipe). I also carry a hydroflask 21oz

To sum up, this Domke bag is of the right size and weight for my needs. As to its price, PT Barnum must be laughing in his grave.
