Excellent performance. Really very happy, with one small exception that I couldn't find any info about online. My son was attempting to get into making his own espresso, and held the portafilter and basket up really high on the grinder causing grounds to build up and spew out everywhere/up the chute, etc. That's when our dreadful static issues began

Why only 3/5 Stars? DISCLAIMER: I cheaped out and bought a Bambino which is directly affecting my review of this product. Ease of use 4 I didn't like the cheap feel of the open close lever, and I kinda wish I could measure and pour the grounds with better integration. Its fairly noisy although I know there are worse products out there. You do get consistency out of the beans which is a HUGE plus and this design allows you to waste less coffee than most if not all of the competition

I love the ease of making a latte each morning- it’s fast and quiet; about 4 seconds for a 22g dose.

The one used only for light roast lasted much longer. I really like this grinder when it's working, and will probably just keep buying new ones since there is no competition at this price point. I wish Baratza could make this a more reliable unit. The whole design and circuitry needs to be beefed up

The biggest flaw in the design of the Eureka grinders is that there is no way to get an accurate read of the burr gap. I would like to tell you what my setting is, but the only way I can do that is, maybe, to count how many full turns of the knob fully opens the burrs and also tell you the number on the dial before I started unspooling. I am not certain that this measurement process, when “undone” in the obvious manner, would get me back to where the sweet spot was.
