According to other comments, there are better cartridges to be had for this, as well as an improved belt of some sort. I don't know anything about either, but it's on the table anyways. So, long story short, if you're looking for a very sharp looking, easy to use, easy to assemble and maintain record player to try out vinyl, this is your best option.

All in all, very happy here. The C-10 is my only "high end" turntable, but I am very satisfied. Sounds great, simple to use, and the birch look feels like it should cost $1000 more. Highly recommended!!!

Being as affordable as it is, you see where they cut the corners. It's very light weight, so you will make sure that you have its surface pretty well isolated from excessive vibration.
