I first had to buy a strobe card, since the turntable doesn't have a built-in strobe pattern, and use a work light with a true incandescent bulb (needed for the strobe pattern). I had to sit with the turntable balanced on the corner of my entertainment center with a record spinning and carefully adjust the speed with a screwdriver. And the speed adjustment is a finicky thing
