There’s a little of the upper mids sucked out which most people won’t want anyway. Also, they are super easy to drive, so no need for an amp. Noise isolation is mediocre. Overall, a perfect headphone for your average person who “wants a nice pair of headphones” but doesn’t want a big commitment

The headphones **must** fit and be comfortable. I don't know a lot/have a lot of experience with headphones so I'm flexible when it comes to open or closed back, over ear/on ear.

(score: 90/100 points) Pros –It does a variety of tasks really good with no real weakness at anything. It’s best for listening enjoyment…not professional studio monitoring as advertised. It has very warm sounding vocals, a balanced sound (with very slight favor to lower mid range & upper bass), and comfortable (loose) fit on my ears/head. It handles thick, polyphonic music passages with ease without distortion…while keeping the main melody/vocals volume and tone quality still cutting through with warmth

I write in the present tense because Audeze is still selling the LCD-2s to this day, nearly a decade of widespread popularity after their initial launch. The strength of that popularity lies in Audeze’s large, custom-designed planar magnetic driver inside each ear cup. It produces pristine, distortion-free sound, and it extends deep into the sub-bass region that’s problematic for more conventional dynamic driver headphones. The LCD2 Classic maintains all of these good attributes, and measurements from other reviewers have shown their spectacularly low harmonic distortion

No scratches, no loosened parts, no cracks, NOTHING. These are SOLID. If you were to choose one last pair of headphones and head out to Narnia where you won't be buying any new ones any time soon, these would be the ones. What's more, I recently looked for someone who dismantled them online, or straight up broken them, to have a better look at their insides and I was pleasantly surprised by the fact that the ENTIRE HEADBAND is made out of METAL

Their strongest points are definitely soundstage, improved comfort over other Audizis, having a very laid back sound and having a very big sound. And ...

They are a bit muted in the sound signature which can make them less fatiguing than other, more analytical, headphones. Mids - A bit to high level for me, it tended to make punk rock music sound very close and muddied Lows - A bit boomy but very spacious Audio Technica ATH M-50x Highs - Quite good representation, a bit cold though Mids - Nothing special, no major issues though Lows - Too over-emphasized -----------------Comfort--------------- Beyerdynamic DT 770 - Winner Perfect. I wore these on multiple occasions for more than 7 hours and never noticed any pressure points or discomfort. The headband is larger than average to distribute the pressure

The more money you drop on headphones, the more diminishing returns you'll get, specially after $1,000. The difference between your current headphones and the best of the best definitively won't be like jumping from the earbuds that come with your phone to the DT 1770 that you own. In my opinion, the only times you should buy very expensive headphones is when you see them on the Facebook marketplace or eBay for significantly less than as if they were new from a retailer. The only reason I own Audeze LCD-2 (2016 revision) is because I found them for $600 on eBay, I would've never payed close to $1,000 for them

hence price, and 4 star rating. But, if you want quality sound at an affordable price, without breaking the bank. Pick yourself up a pair of these bad boys.

5 kHz were so bothering, that I had to listen to those headphones with EQ. And if you put EQ on them, they seemed to lose all what made them special, and sounded so plain that I preferred to go back to my LCD-2 in the end.

If you are a travelling person that is exposed to lots of noisy situations the qc15 or the and-9's are the better fit for you. I myself transit much of the time. However, the loudness at which I play my music blocks out much of the noise (with the m50s which is around 50%). It all depends on how much noise that surrounds an individual
