This is a neat little thing. They did on these ITX boards because there's no room Even though it does look like you could have possibly put a normal full-size one here They didn't so this would plug in here give you your full-size four pin And now you would have to to support any other fans you want to put on your system now with an ITX build There's a chance that you're gonna have to use a fan hub. You have one for your CPU and two headers for other fans So what this does this piece here actually connects to the heat sink that's surrounding everything Going out to this pipe

Review of the Gigabyte B550I Aorus Pro AX

* Gigabyte Aorus Pro AX B550i/MSI MPG B550i Gaming Edge WiFi. * Cooler Master NR200P. * Ryzen 5 5600X. * A good 600/700W SMPS/SFX PSU

 The description said in acceptable condition which meant there would be cosmetic damage of 1" or more. I have to say, there was no cosmetic damage on this board at all. I paired it with the Ryzen 5 5500, MSI RX 6500 XT, PNY 3200 mhz 16 gb ram, 2 SSD drives, and 2 HDD drives. It works beautifully, and is also nice to have the Smart Fan 5 so that you can get warnings while playing if your CPU goes over a certain degree of your choice

Pros: ATX Motherboard Had plenty of fan headers including 3 pin and 4 pin ARGB headers Really nice chunky VRM heat sinks Built in I/O shield Overall just a great board  Cons: I gave it 4 stars because while it did come in the original box, upon receiving the item, there wasn't any additional packaging which you would think since it's a motherboard being shipped and the possibility of damage during shipping, wasn't a very bright idea. Would have been nice to have a little more extra security like an additional box and bubble wrap in the box covering the motherboard in its original packaging. The Gigabyte software is not too bad, but not the best I've seen either.  Overall: Really great motherboard for the price

 Additionally, the Pro-P has great thermals in the VRM department due to its massive heatsinks.  The only "bad" thing about this motherboard is the PCI-e bus layout. Ideally, you'd install your graphics card on the main PCI-e x16 slot, because that is how you get most of it's performance. If you have a large GPU like an Asus 3070ti TUF (like in my case), installing such a massive card on the first PCI-e x16 slot covers the other PCI-e slots below the main one

 The 'Pro-p' (this one we're reviewing), is updated with better thermal pads in the VRM department.

 This PCI-e layout seems to be a trend for Gigabyte's micro boards. Also have this in consideration before purchasing this board.  Overall, the board itself is working as it should. I personally recommend this for anyone looking for a micro ATX motherboard

The motherboard was easy to install and easy to set up. Although the bios is a bit simplistic, it's very easy to navigate. My main complaint is that this motherboard does not have a front Type C header (also known as a USB 3.2 header)! It also only has one front USB 3 header, so you can't simply adapt a type c port to that header
