 We got all the additional fail-safe features that Liquid cooling demands, such as our leak sensors and flow sensor. Finally, in the unlikely case, anyone would want to cool this thing with liquid nitrogen. we do have all the usual Ln2 switch, allowing direct access to several reset and reboot modes to bypass overclocking settings. Now, troubleshooting wise, we got everything available and imaginable, starting with an easy debugger for first aid debugging, a Qr code screen for refined troubleshooting, and a rather long and high definition Led screen which can show a bunch of useful information including Cpu temperatures

 and the Extreme version one of its most extremist products. Once you spent 900 bucks on a motherboard, the very least it can do is to do whatever you want it to do, unleashing every bit of potential from all your components. And the Crosser 8 Extreme does just that. Now starting with the obvious, we're dealing with an E80x motherboard, meaning three centimeters wider than your everyday motherboard

How the N7 from NZXT is after 4 months… I’m upset - should you buy??

 It looks quite similar in styling, but it is not as good, in my opinion, as the styling of this kind of armor design from NZXT. So if that really does appeal to you, and for example, if you're going to use cam and the proprietary RGB connectors, then perhaps the M.7 B550 is worth your time and money. I guess with all of that said, we can say that NZXT has somewhat successfully delivered what they intended to

 And then also up here where you'd usually find a three pin and a four pin RGB connection, you actually get NZXT proprietary RGB connection. So you get two of those if you want to integrate the motherboard with your NZXT ecosystem partner in hardware. Good to see. Obviously a vertically orientated 24 pin connector and next to this we get an internal type C header and this does run at 10 gigabits per second USB 3

 They wanted to make a stylish, good-looking motherboard that is great for cable management, that integrates well inside their ecosystem, and they have done that. Yes, you pay a pretty penny for it, and yes, you have to accept some pretty fundamental shortfalls, but if this ticks your box, then fill your boots, I guess.  Probably not going to saturate eight pin, but it does give you a little bit of redundancy and backup. You've got a top edge fan connector, which is one for the CPU and one for an AIO pump. Now I typically don't like one for the CPU, but NZXT gets away with this because you've got two more four pin system fan headers right on this top edge. So you do have access to four four pin connectors

I activated my XMP profile, undervolted and overclocked my CPU, setup the fans, set resizable BAR and I was on my way

 With me using Gen 4 NVMe drives (Sabrent Rocket 4 Plus), I was worried about the plastic covers over the drives rather than an actual heat sink, but drive temps have been a non-issue. They have not noticeably increased and are well below the manufacturers recommended maximum temps.  Overall, I would definitely buy NZXT motherboards in the future, especially if they look this good. 10/10!

Excellent motherboard for my murdered out 5900x

 And then you've got obviously your multiple bands on here. So it'll do Wi-Fi 6E, by the way, this is a Wi-Fi 6E enabled motherboard. It does have a Realtek NIC in there if you're wondering about the ethernet. And it obviously has Bluetooth

 And I'm just happy to see that they directly connect to the motherboard. I've never personally had an issue with the antennas attached to the motherboard versus the wired ones that you could stick up on top of your case or on your desk or something. So that's all that comes in the box. Nothing too crazy

 Although that might sound like a lot, to get a lot of the functionality that's in this motherboard from some of the other brands, we'll run you three, four, $500. Don't get me started on our current test bench motherboard for AMD, which was over $700. So anyway, if you guys wanna learn more about the N7 B550 motherboard, full specs of memory compatibility, which by the way, I forgot to mention does support 4,600 plus megahertz on the memory. I've not personally run any AMD CPUs with memory that high

 And who on earth came up with the name NZXT? I mean, how am I supposed to pronounce this in French? Obviously, NZXT did not play well in the first place, but it did play well in the second place. Obviously, NZXT did not start manufacturing their own motherboards, instead, they have contracted a much more established and experienced manufacturer, ASRock. So basically, we're dealing with an ASRock motherboard dressed by NZXT, which is not a bad thing. I'll tell you this, it is not ugly, actually, I kind of like it, it has a very nice minimalist feel to it, and at first glance, there's no obvious visible components, everything looks slick, simple, and yes, engineered

 You can run the most powerful 16 core money can buy, but as soon as you're going to throw a video editing software on this, you'll be in a world of pain. And as far as I'm concerned, it removes it completely from the production realm and makes it a very expensive and maybe even overpriced gamer when you look at the competition. A lot of people will still buy it for its neat minimalistic design, but it's not going to save them from having some issues memory-wise. So yeah, I mean, it's a great first try coming from NZXT in the B550 platform, but still it has some serious work ahead of it and some real improvements that needs to be done before it hopes to worry the bigger players in the market, such as AORUS or ASUS

 Luckily, ASRock did exactly what it did on its own branded boards, meaning spread the load over several power stages to limit hotspots. After that, a rather imposing double-stage VRM hitsinks and we have some of the coolest temps I have seen on a B550 motherboard with an overclocked 16-core Ryzen 9, I could barely detect 55°C of heat, and surprisingly, this is the coolest VRM I have ever tested on a B550 platform. So definitely a huge kudos to ASRock and NZXT for it, because I don't know who did the hitsink, and definitely something which will impact the lifespan of your motherboard positively. Memory-wise, the N7550 supports up to 128GB of DDR4 RAM in a dual-channel configuration, clocking up to an impressive 4

 Now troubleshooting wise, we get our easy debugger together through the booting process, which is what I expected to see on a PCI 4.0 enabled motherboard. We also do have big fat good looking power and reset salted buttons, which I need to admit are rather premium features at this price range. Finally RGB wise, the NZXT N7 is rather conservative, which is not a bad thing

 I'm gonna point out some higher-end features that I think came with this motherboard and were previously more reserved for the higher end X570 motherboards. Firstly, you get a 12 plus 2 CPU power phase which should prevent bottlenecks with higher-end CPUs. You also get a 6-layer PCB compared to 4 on the older Z490 motherboard. Next, we have a large no such thing as overkill L-shaped metal block that cools the power delivery, good network connectivity such as Bluetooth 5
