While I can't speak to how any mattress will "feel" for someone else because this is too subjective and relative to different body types, sleeping positions, and individual preferences, sensitivities, and circumstances ... outside of PPP and how well you sleep the most important part of the value of a mattress purchase is durability which is all about how long you will sleep well on a mattress

 This is the part of your research that you can't see or "feel" and assessing the quality/durability and useful life of a mattress depends on knowing the specifics of its construction and the type and quality of the materials inside it regardless of the name of the manufacturer on the label (or how a mattress feels in a showroom or when it is relatively new) so I would always make sure that you find out  information listed here so you can compare the materials and components to the  quality/durability guidelines here to make sure there are no lower quality materials or weak links in a mattress that would be a cause for concern relative to the durability and useful life of a mattress before making any purchase.

Our testing on the Mint for stomach sleepers found the medium firm surface provides good support for those who are light to middle weight. This reinforcement gives the Mint an advantage over other all-foam mattresses which usually have rather weak edge support

 It also contains graphite to help draw heat away from the body since heat retention can be a problem with all foam mattresses. Replaced our ancient pillow top mattress with this mattress. It does indeed cool you off but we found the mattress to be very firm. It has taken us some time to adjust to the firmness after sleeping on an old pillow top with a 4 inch foam topper on top of it for the last 2 or so years.

 So you have a thick layer of dense support foam at the very bottom, and then right above that support foam you have a transition layer of what Tuft & Needle calls their Mint layer. This makes it sound more like a cookie of some kind as opposed to a mattress, but it is a nice soft yet responsive foam that's going to provide you with a nice buffer between the primary comfort foam and the support foam. And then that primary comfort foam is going to be the proprietary T&N Adaptive Foam. This stuff is used in all the beds from Tuft & Needle, and it strikes a really nice balance between comfort and support

 They give you 100 nights, which is the online mattress standard, to sleep on the mattress at home to decide if you actually like it and it suits your needs. If you decide that it doesn't for whatever reason, you can return it and get a full refund, but if you wind up keeping the bed, it comes with a 10-year warranty.
