While I can't speak to how any mattress will "feel" for someone else because this is too subjective and relative to different body types, sleeping positions, and individual preferences, sensitivities, and circumstances ... outside of PPP and how well you sleep the most important part of the value of a mattress purchase is durability which is all about how long you will sleep well on a mattress

 This is the part of your research that you can't see or "feel" and assessing the quality/durability and useful life of a mattress depends on knowing the specifics of its construction and the type and quality of the materials inside it regardless of the name of the manufacturer on the label (or how a mattress feels in a showroom or when it is relatively new) so I would always make sure that you find out  information listed here so you can compare the materials and components to the  quality/durability guidelines here to make sure there are no lower quality materials or weak links in a mattress that would be a cause for concern relative to the durability and useful life of a mattress before making any purchase.

 You do sink in just a little bit. The coils, as you can see, are individually wrapped, so while they will give you some really nice firm support and bounce to the mattress, they're going to move independently. It's not going to be the same steel coil in a spring mattress you might be thinking of. It's going to be better at isolating motion transfer than a traditional in a spring mattress would be

 However, there's really firm support from the coil base below that. I did a really nice job of keeping my hips from sinking too far into the mattress, keeping my spine aligned in a good position when I was on my back, really comfortable for back sleepers in my opinion. As I'm changing positions, I don't feel stuck in the mattress at all. I think there's really great bounce thanks to that pocketed coil support layer below

 I'm going to put it through a few tests, tell you what the mattress is made of. At the end, I'll give you my pros and cons. To start out, let's jump in and talk about what it feels like. The first thing I want to talk about with the feel of the Silk and Snow Hybrid Mattress is the firmness level or support level of the mattress

 For stomach sleepers, I find that a mattress in this firmness range is really great. I generally think that some sleepers are going to need to find really firm mattresses to keep their hips in line with their shoulders, keep their spine aligned in that good position. Full refund expected, no complaints here. I have just pulled the trigger on the Silk&Snow Hybrid mattress, in the hopes of getting that 'sinking in feeling' on the top, but with more lumbar / torso support overnight.

 My lower back is going to be supported any position. So in that regard, even though it is a medium-firm feel, it's a very versatile mattress. In terms of sleeping hot, you're not going to sink into the mattress too much, so there's not going to be much material to surround you to trap any heat, and I found the top to be very breathable.  A lot of people don't like mattresses where you kind of get up to go to the bathroom, and you get out of bed, and it feels like you're going to slip off the mattress. With this one, you can sit or sleep right up to the edge and maximize the use of the mattress. It's a very well thought-out design, and again, keep in mind, all these materials are sourced in Canada, so if you're buying this product, you're really supporting Canadian companies. Overall, I give the Silk and Snow Hybrid a medium-firm feel

 Underneath that, you have a four-pound density layer of foam, and that is a pretty dense foam layer, so they really only had to use one foam layer because it's really good quality. Underneath that, you'll find a pocketed coil system, and when you get into the king size, you have over 1,200 individually wrapped coils, and those coils all operate independent of one another, so there's not going to be as much motion transfer. There's not going to be the push-pull because as one coil goes down, it won't affect the other coil. In addition, the middle of the mattress is actually zoned for more support, so you're going to get better support for your lower back, and conversely, the upper and lower half are a little bit softer, so you're going to get more pressure relief for your shoulders
