Altras’ are a real crap-shoot regarding quality (soles delaminating) or fit. Their older models were better quality and fit (wide toe-box) and after ordering 7 various models, returning 6, I think it’s time I find a different company.

There is space ALL around. But another great feature is that your heel and arch are snugly cradled so they do not slip or turn. The "Guide Rail" technology is not messing around - if you are an overpronator like me, your ankle and arch are locked in place.
