 Now below that you'll see some LAN Ethernet statistics, if that's of any concern to you, you could use that. Now for me I'm only using port 1 because I'm using that as a pass through and I'm not using any other ports to my LAN network. You could clear statistics from here if you want to pick up new ones but for me it doesn't matter so I leave it as is. So the next tab we're going to go under is called Configure

 So let's say if you want to allow certain MAC addresses on 2.4 gigahertz. So what you would do is click allow on your home SSID on 2.4 gigahertz or even 5 gigahertz and then you could select MAC addresses and add them letting it know what network to allow those MAC addresses from but that would also mean that there's nothing else that would be able to enter your home traffic aside from these MAC addresses

 You would configure IP allocation so that way when you do reboot a device or the device goes offline or it gets booted or it refreshes or whatever happens to the device once it comes back up it picks up the same IP addresses. So that's what you're allocating here is to make sure once the device goes down comes back up it picks up the same IP address rather than dynamically being assigned by the DHCP a new IP address. So hope that makes sense to you guys. If you do have any questions please drop in the comments below

 And then you have the configuration of IPv6 DHCP right under that. You could make changes to that but I would say just to leave the public subnet mode disabled because put your internal network on the public address space and you don't want to do that but because then all the traffic on the internet will be exposed to your internal home devices. I recently moved to an area that has ATT gigabit so I opted for it. I purchased a TP-Link WiFi 6 AX3000 PCIe WiFi Card to install in my computer and it seems to work fine. I just can't seem to get more than 300-400Mpbs when I do testing throughout the day. I have the new BGW320 modem/router from ATT. I have tried three different AX routers but when I connect it to my setup, my download speed is slower than when I connect to the BGW320 directly. 

The ATT setup is connected in the living room and my computer is in my bedroom. Live in an apartment so not a huge distance from my computer and router. 

Any help would be appreciated.

Is it possible to get 1GB download speeds with Wifi 6?

 Amazing! I love it!  It's a shame that AT&T has terrible customer support and getting this new router for free to replace the old one is like rolling dice. Don't even count on them to remove your rental equipment cost because they'll simply raise your bill the same amount.  Either way, this is no fault of the router and I could not be more happy with it. If range, speed, and ease of use are what you're looking for, this will satisfy all of it

 The range seemed 30-50% higher. I even got good signal behind my above ground pool! With the BGW-210, the signal completely dissappeared. The new router was placed in the exact same place. I'm shocked!  The speeds performed next to the router on Wi-Fi using a Samsung Galaxy S10+ were around 650mbps down/550mbps up

 Ping was low but stayed mostly the same as last one (7 ms, excellent). The down/up speeds are more than 2x faster than the old BGW-210 (which ran at about 300 mbps down/up on a GOOD day). Amazing! Replacing AT&Ts BGW 210 for the BGW 320 with WiFi 6 and 5 GbE

I have been battling AT&T for awhile to get this router without luck. I love the fiber optic network and speed, but don’t like the device bandwidth reduction with the BGW210. I decided to purchase this independently and was amazed how simple it was to install. If you have the older ONT setup like me, I simply placed the red ONT plug into its port on the back and my home internet and network were back up in about 5 minutes

 This was great saving me time from entering in the Wi-Fi password to over 20 devices.

 So I got myself a separate mesh to take the load off this router's wireless card and spread the range out towards the front and backyard for the cameras and doorbell.

 Just know that it was very easy to install. It just took a few minutes to register on the ONT and the ATT network. I did not have to call and deal with their support. Since the only devices that support AX in my house are phones, the PCs, laptops, tablets, TVs, etc

 It is AX, so for those who don't quite understand, it's the next tech after AC. I'm not going to explain 4x4 or triband capabilities. Just know that it was very easy to install. It just took a few minutes to register on the ONT and the ATT network

For WiFi APs, I suggested getting used Ruckus r610/r710 APs and load them with ruckus unleashed firmware. No support contract needed. One of my friends replaced his amplifi HD and his family stop complaining about bad WiFi. Anyway, l have been deploying ruckus APs to clients since 2014 and it’s great and very reliable

I currently have an AMPLIFI which is pretty decent but I’ve outgrown its capabilities.

I’d be willing to look at Meraki if it didn’t have the internet requirement like Unifi does.

I’m even willing to consider separate router and AP setups if it works better.

Our consistent search for a powerful and reliable AC WiFi system is over. Six months operating and zero reboots and zero dropouts anywhere in my home and full power 30 yards out on the street. Three Amazon Fire TVs could be streaming UHD content at the same time with no hiccups or buffering. This is the same experience as being wired for our available internet speeds (200 Down/15 Up)
