Arris BGW210-700 vs TP-Link Archer A7

This is the exact same model that I had that got struck by lightning or was otherwise incapacitated. DSL modems are getting hard to find. I recommend plugging it into an APC backup: the prior one that I had actually has a note on it saying not to power it down while it's booting or it can cause permanent damage. I think my power was flickering, and damaged it, so I recommend an APC

I am currently using a Motorola MB8600 modem and a TP-Link AC1750 Archer A7 router. I also have Comcast Xfinity 200mb for my internet. I have had almost nothing but problems with the Archer A7, it worked fine for about a week, but now it disconnects 3-5 times a day; and I am pretty sick of not having stable internet. For the record, I am 95% certain it s the router to blame, as when I plug my PC into the modem, I have internet, but when I plug it into the router again, I lose that internet
