 Giving you credit for the few minutes that you've already been working out before actually pressing the start button. The only real complaint i have about this is that it doesn't collect the heart rate for those first, three or so minutes, but i suppose that's on par. For the course, with the heart rate tracking for the other workouts, so to wrap things up, the sc performs pretty similarly to the series 3, 4 and 5 and the gps department. But i saw a few more differences with heart rate and it was kind of interesting, because we definitely saw some examples where the heart rate was actually really darn good, like some of those indoor cycling

 The examples that you're going to see. So we're first going to start out with gps performance as well as how the altimeter did and then we'll wrap up with heart rate. So, as i mentioned earlier, when we went over battery life, when you have your phone with you when you're tracking outdoor activity, the watch will try to use the gps from your phone. Since gps can vary from phone to phone

, but i did notice some differences and we'll go over those when we get into the sports and fitness performance. Another area where the sc differs is that it uses a raised awake gesture that was found on the series, 1, 2, 3 and 4. But it doesn't have the always on display, like the series, 5 and 6.

 But then the middle portions of the workout were actually really good, but the strange thing is is that at the end of the workout, regardless of the duration, i started to see the heart rate wander a little bit. So i guess there is some consistency with those inconsistencies so now onto some weight training, and this is an activity - that's very challenging for any wrist-based heart rate sensor. Just because there's going to be a lot of arm movement, there's a lot of wrist flexion. There'S a lot of gripping action, and so basically, if a wrist-based heart rate sensor can even get in the same ballpark as a chest, heart rate, strap i'd, say that's a pretty good sign and what we can see from this example is that it's not bad again

2. I did this with four simple types of workouts: walking everyday for 40 minutes, running 2/3 times a week for half an hour, playing tennis once a week and functional strength training in my bedroom. The recipe is not hard and the watch has helped me stay on track.

So, last Christmas I decided to buy the watch for myself as a Christmas present. After reading a lot about this tiny computer now on my wrist I had absolutely no idea how it would completely change my life, health and general well-being. Looking back, these were the best 400€ I have ever spent on a product and today I would rank the Watch above my iPhone in a blink of an eye. These are two completely different products for sure, and not directly comparable, but evaluating by the benefits the watch brings to my life, it is the clear winner

This watch didn't last but a year. Any watch will have normal abrasions but it should hold up better than this Apple Watch did.

A bit late, but I'm having the same issues. Notifications are random, maybe 1 out of 5 make it to my watch. Basically tried everything you did but it didn't make a difference here either.

The problem is simple, I don't get any notifications on my watch. As a side note, it doesn't seem to sync my contacts with my phone which is quite odd... I'm curious if anyone has had this problem or what solutions you have found. What I have done:

\-Restart the watch  
\-Hard reset the watch  
\-Hard reset the watch AND the iPhone (11)  
\-reset the sync settings on the apple watch  
\-unpair and repair as a new watch  
\-unpair and repair restoring from back up...  
\-reset the watch and erase all settings, repairing as a new watch and restoring from backup

The results are the same, I get no notifications, and I'm burning through battery, I'm getting 8-10 hours of battery life where I would get 18 prior. I've checked all my connections, bluetooth is connected to my phone, I've tried wifi and cellular connections as well, all to no avail... I'm pretty dumbstruck.

Also also, data works on my watch, I can download apps, I can initiate phone calls and texts, listen to Spotify, etc, just notifications don't come through... and yes I've checked my notification settings to make sure DND isn't on by mistake or something : )

Notifications not coming to my Watch OS 8 Beta

 The charging question is interesting now because if you wear the watch all day and then you wear to sleep, when do you charge the thing, it does have slightly faster 90 minute zero to 100 charging. But when do you actually get it on the charger? For me, i found two times during the day and neither of them are a full charge, but the first one is like right when i like go shower at night, but after a workout or something i'll pop it on the charger and that'll juice, it up enough To last through the night and then when i wake up in the morning, so it taps me awake and i just take it off and put it on the charger and go through my morning routine. So it's just sitting on the charger juicing up for the day. So it never actually gets to 100, i'm just kind of always bouncing between 20 and 85 percent, which is actually better for battery health

The Watch Series 6, however, has more design and color choices. In addition to the standard silver, grey and gold aluminum colors, the Series 6 comes in blue and red. Apple Watch 6 vs. Apple Watch SE: Every big difference

 Apple’s latest smartwatch software, watchOS 7, flies on either model, whether that’s for navigating the interface, launching apps, or using voice commands with Siri. I never feel like I have to wait for the watch to do what I want, which is exactly how smartwatches should function, but frequently don’t.

For this review, Apple sent me a gray 44mm model with cellular connectivity — essentially the highest end SE configuration you can buy at $359. I’ve been testing it paired to an iPhone 11 without using the cellular option, though, so my experience is equivalent to what you’d get from the base model.

In this piece I’m reviewing the one in the middle: the brand-new, but not really new inside, Apple Watch SE. Starting at $279 for a 40mm version or $309 for the 44mm, it’s considerably less than the flagship Series 6 and not that much more expensive than the aging Series 3. 

For Apple, the SE makes a lot of sense. The Series 3 has been wildly popular over the past couple years solely because of how low the price drops during the holiday season (I was able to buy a Series 3 on sale for $199, the same price it sells for now, two years ago) and it’s likely that this year many will opt for the SE, especially as it starts to see discounts throughout the season.

Battery life is also reliable if not spectacular — I’m able to go about a day-and-a-half between charges with the brightness set at medium. WatchOS 7’s sleep tracking does make managing the battery more annoying, however, and the SE doesn’t have the Series 6’s slightly faster charging capability. It takes a solid two-plus hours to fully charge, and if I’m wearing it while I sleep, that means I have to find time during the day to charge it up. As a result, I end up taking it off and dropping it on the charger multiple times a day — when I’m in the shower, before I go to bed, etc
