Based from my experience i recommend a 1080p monitor for a gtx 1660 ti. 1440p is a bit heavy for a 1660 ti, but if you plan on buying a new GPU in the near future a 1440p monitor is a valid option. If you don’t plan on upgrading the GPU, i recommend a 24” 1080p monitor, like the AOC 24G2U.

Absolutely love this monitor. Perfect size. Never going back to 16:9. Ultrawide is the way to go! Especially for productivity

Good resolution. Tilts up, down, and side to side which is nice. My only complaint is that you can’t adjust the brightness or contrast (or much of anything else, picture-wise) without a 3rd party app. Ok for gaming, easy to see in dark areas like caves or at night in-game, but the contrast is so high that dark colors look almost black and lose definition in bright, daytime conditions (also in-game)

Within days I had fallen in love with it. I'm using the DP connection to get 75Hz and an amd gpu to utilize freesync and once I started gaming it all made sense fairly quickly. This thing is dirt cheap and lightning fast, I'm not Chuck Norris on CS:Go I don't need an absurd refresh rate or response time on the bleeding edge of technology, I mostly do research for work, watch youtube and play Warframe. The settings for font clarity and refresh rates really only took 5 minutes to figure out and I was rolling

Contrast is also mediocre. There's an issue with viewing angles when you sit in front that causes the sides of the screen to dim considerably, especially if you're within 3 feet. It's worse than a typical VA panel which is very strange for an IPS panel. This can have an effect during gaming when objects appear at the edges of the screen; the lack of contrast can make these objects less noticeable
