 As soon as I put them on, I could feel the difference in weight. These are super lightweight, so they are definitely going to feel like you're not even wearing trainers running around the court. Adidas Ubersonic 4 Review

In this video, I take a close look at adidas's new tennis shoe, the Ubersonic 4. 
After unboxing the shoe and taking a look at the new design, I take it out onto court to test its comfort performance before sharing my thoughts.

My current tennis shoe is the Adidas Sole Court Boost, a durable and stable shoe. The Ubersonic was built with speed and agility in mind, so is around 50-60 grams lighter than my current shoe... and you can definitely feel it!

Adidas Ubersonic 4 Review - YouTube

 Brought off the same last as the Ubersonic 2, this shoe is designed to offer a glove-like fit and contoured feel. New to this update, the Lightstrike midsole provides loads of rebound and is softer and more responsive than previous versions. An Adiware rubber herringbone tread pattern is denser for more durability in high wear areas and wider on the lateral edge for the perfect blend of grip and gip. I was fortunate enough to play in the first release of this shoe in the top secret Callaway and found some differences between that one and this regular production version

 I'm loving this Lightstrike cushioning system. It feels super responsive in there, very fast out there and light on my feet and it's got all the cushioning I need to take this thing out of those tough landings. And I'm playing just on hard court so cushioning is something I really pay attention to in my shoes. They're providing a nice durable ride to and I'm impressed by both the upper and the outsole durability both holding up very well for lightweight speed shoes

And then also the traction, it's just dynamite. Finding that perfect blend there where I can pivot and move quickly so there's enough gear from the outsole but yeah I'm getting all the traction I need to make those aggressive lateral cuts and quick stops

 That one fit a little snug, a little narrow, I hugged my foot a little bit better and so I didn't have any sliding into the end of the shoe which I have found in this Callaway. And also the lace system worked better in that one. This one the laces really get stuck and you have to really yank on them to get the shoe to cinch correctly around your foot. What I did find the same was the excellent cushioning

adidas adizero Ubersonic 4 Men's Tennis Shoe Review (light ...

 I didn't feel like I was too slippery and I did feel like I had good tack when I needed it. I do want to mention this isn't going to be the most durable shoe out there as I am seeing some wearing on the outsole after a couple weeks of use. But all in all, really excited about this update and I think it's going to be a great shoe for players looking to be nice and speedy and comfortable and cute on the court. One of the first things I noticed when trying on these Ubersonic 4s was an updated fit compared to the 3s

 For the lightweight nature of the shoe I found these to be super stable on court they also offered really nice support I always had a really locked in secure feel the only support issue I had was at the end of the play test after I put upwards of 10 hours in the shoes I noticed that the underfoot cushioning started to lose some of its responsiveness and especially towards my forefoot it started to feel really bare and thin underfoot there so I was starting to notice the results of pounding on the court and I started to get a little bit of sliding issues then as well. That kind of leads over into durability which for a lightweight shoe it's not expected these would get the highest marks for durability and I did notice after 10 hours that I was getting some smoothing at the toes especially on my right foot where I dragged my toe on serves there's some smoothing there but it wasn't anything that I wouldn't normally expect to see from a shoe in this lightweight category. The traction underfoot I really never had to think about traction I felt like I was just floating across the court in these in a manner that wasn't at all slippy so really enjoyed the traction there. Overall it's been a while since I've worn a lightweight shoe and I loved how speedy I felt in these and I really loved that initial comfort that I got from the Lightstripe midsole cushioning

 Having play-tested several of the previous Ubersonics from Adidas, I was really happy with this update and I absolutely love the styling and the cosmetics that Adidas is executing on this lightweight shoe. The first thing I noticed was how supportive that booty really is. It held my feet in so well. But I do have to mention the lacing system was a bit tough for me to get dialed in with

 First off when I tried on my normal size 7 these ran pretty long at the toes for me so I opted to size down a half size to a six and a half. That worked out best for me in getting a more true to length fit. These also fit comfortably snug thanks to that booty construction. And the other thing I noticed right off the bat was that underfoot cushioning even just trying them on they felt super responsive underfoot and they did not disappoint

NEW 2022 WILSON RUSH PRO ACE TENNIS SHOES

 Jason, I know you had a little bit of an issue with the fit of the shoe so maybe talk about that a bit and then also your overall thoughts on the shoe. Yeah, so this was an interesting play test for me, performance wise I thought I agreed with the other play testers, you know it's a really good shoe for that, durability was great, traction was spot on, support was great as well because I don't feel my foot sliding around the shoe when I'm pulled side to side, front to back, my foot is locked in place, stability wise it was good, I probably could have used a little bit more stability up there but you know no big issues there but like you said the fit was where I had issues with it, in the forefoot it was fine and I do have a wider foot unlike Chris and it was really through that mid foot area that it was just too narrow for me, it was kind of pinching me in my arches and toward the end of my play test hits my arches would be sore just because of that narrow fit through that area but overall you know I think it's a great shoe, you know Wilson's come a long way I feel, it just wasn't the greatest fit for my foot type. I also got to play test this shoe and the guys have kind of been teasing me a little bit for a while because as soon as I slipped this shoe on I fell in love with it, I love the plush cushioning all around the foot and it's got that inner sleeve so right when you put it on it feels nice and snug, nice and secure, you take it down to the courts and that snug fit helps hold your foot in place when moving laterally so great lateral stability and also that forefoot cage that Wilson added to the shoe, it's a little bit beefy but it adds a lot of support and stability so I really liked it there. I was a little skeptical of the durability as well as the traction, looking at the outsole it's kind of a unique pattern but both the durability and the traction was great and overall really loved this shoe, my only knock on it would have liked a little bit more ventilation in the forefoot, I thought the forefoot was a little bit too beefed up but again that's where you got the great support and stability so I don't know how much I would take away from it there but overall loved this shoe, I think this is one of the surprise shoes of 2013

 Next up we're here with Chris who's got his classic Wilson racket to match his new Wilson Rush Pros, give us your thoughts. Wilson's back with this shoe, they've been absent I think from the high performance shoe market for a while, just haven't added anything that really appealed to me until this shoe came out and really enjoying it. Traction is excellent, they proved to be very durable, unlike Spenny I do drag my toe so I appreciate all that extra build up of rubber, not only under the big toe which I drag heavily on my forehand and serve, but also up on the upper of the shoe too, just really helps when I'm coming over the top of the shoe, sliding for say a wide slice or something like that. So really good durability, good traction, nice cushion, good comfort, they fit my narrow feet through the mid foot really well which I like too, so really good shoe for me, my favorite Wilson shoe in a long time, can't remember another Wilson shoe that I've liked this much

 Steph we're here with Spencer, give us your thoughts on the new Rush Pro. Well to start with I was really happy with the performance of the Rush Pro. I think anticipating it, knowing it was coming out, I had an idea it was going to perform better than previous Wilson shoes that I've tried in the past. One issue I had with previous Wilson shoes on the court was the stability, I didn't feel they were really stable
