 Once I got it on court, it was just like everything from the very first generation. Really stable, really comfortable. The traction was great. I felt like I could slide in and out of my shots just a little bit, so not too sticky

 When I was sprinting around the court, traction was really good, had enough grip to make a quick first step and to come to a controlled stop, and yet if I wanted to slide out of a shot slightly, I could do that just by unweighting my outside foot, and I got a nice controlled slide out of the shoe. I thought durability was really good as well. The shoe flexed well on my toes, so when I was pushing off, the shoe felt comfortable, light and fast on my feet, and it actually feels a lot lighter than the specs would indicate. So a fun playtest for me, and I think if you've got a medium to a wider fit in the forefoot, you're going to really enjoy this one

 Now let's check in with him to hear his thoughts on the Hypercord Express 2. I thought the very first generation of the Hypercord Express was really comfortable and plush underfoot and I felt the same with this generation as well. It was really comfortable and this one, like the first version, felt a little bit more generous in the forefoot and has a little bit lower arch, which was great for me.  Overall, my foot is a little on the narrow side, maybe not quite as narrow as Chris's, but this shoe is definitely wider, like the first iteration of the Hypercourt Express, especially through the forefoot. So I had to cinch the shoe up pretty snugly to get a good proper fit, but just the overall width of the shoe and the construction of it lends itself to be a very stable ride in any direction on the court. The outsole seems to be about the same tread pattern and compound as the Hypercourt Supreme, also the previous Hypercourt Express and the Ultra Shot. So this has worked great for me on pretty much any hard court that I've played on

 Welcome to the Tennis Warehouse shoe review of the K-Swiss Hypercord Express 2.

 This second generation of the Hypercord Express now features SurgeLite technology in the midsole,

 making it lighter and even more comfortable while maintaining its trademark breathability

 DuraWrap Flex has been added to the upper for increased support and gives this shoe

 The midfoot shank enhances the lateral stability while the signature Aosta 7.0 rubber outsole

 provides superb traction on any court surface.

 Now let's check in with him to hear his thoughts on the Hypercord Express 2.

 I thought the very first generation of the Hypercord Express was really comfortable and

 plush underfoot and I felt the same with this generation as well.

 It was really comfortable and this one, like the first version, felt a little bit more

 generous in the forefoot and has a little bit lower arch, which was great for me.

 I think the biggest improvement I noticed was the support.

 Once I got it on court and cinched up, I felt like the uppers were able to cinch up tighter

 and I wasn't getting that slippage, so I wasn't getting a little bit of toe jamming I was

 I didn't notice it with this version, so that was really nice to see.

 This one fit my foot a little wider, I have a very narrow foot, so I had plenty of room

 I had to push it quite tightly to get a secure fit, and I wore two pairs of socks to help

 Got some nice arch support from it though, and I felt more locked in in the heel than

 If I was going to have any knock towards the shoe, I might say the Hypercourt Supreme fit

 a little bit snugger, but overall just a great ride, great playtest.
