 As soon as I put them on, I could feel the difference in weight. These are super lightweight, so they are definitely going to feel like you're not even wearing trainers running around the court. Like I said, when I was back at home, love this part here, super soft, really good on your heel and your Achilles. And I felt that even more so when I was running around the court as well

Adidas Ubersonic 4 Review

In this video, I take a close look at adidas's new tennis shoe, the Ubersonic 4. 
After unboxing the shoe and taking a look at the new design, I take it out onto court to test its comfort performance before sharing my thoughts.

My current tennis shoe is the Adidas Sole Court Boost, a durable and stable shoe. The Ubersonic was built with speed and agility in mind, so is around 50-60 grams lighter than my current shoe... and you can definitely feel it!

Adidas Ubersonic 4 Review - YouTube

 Brought off the same last as the Ubersonic 2, this shoe is designed to offer a glove-like fit and contoured feel. New to this update, the Lightstrike midsole provides loads of rebound and is softer and more responsive than previous versions. An Adiware rubber herringbone tread pattern is denser for more durability in high wear areas and wider on the lateral edge for the perfect blend of grip and gip. I was fortunate enough to play in the first release of this shoe in the top secret Callaway and found some differences between that one and this regular production version

 I'm loving this Lightstrike cushioning system. It feels super responsive in there, very fast out there and light on my feet and it's got all the cushioning I need to take this thing out of those tough landings. And I'm playing just on hard court so cushioning is something I really pay attention to in my shoes. They're providing a nice durable ride to and I'm impressed by both the upper and the outsole durability both holding up very well for lightweight speed shoes

And then also the traction, it's just dynamite. Finding that perfect blend there where I can pivot and move quickly so there's enough gear from the outsole but yeah I'm getting all the traction I need to make those aggressive lateral cuts and quick stops

 That one fit a little snug, a little narrow, I hugged my foot a little bit better and so I didn't have any sliding into the end of the shoe which I have found in this Callaway. And also the lace system worked better in that one. This one the laces really get stuck and you have to really yank on them to get the shoe to cinch correctly around your foot. What I did find the same was the excellent cushioning

adidas adizero Ubersonic 4 Men's Tennis Shoe Review (light ...

 I didn't feel like I was too slippery and I did feel like I had good tack when I needed it. I do want to mention this isn't going to be the most durable shoe out there as I am seeing some wearing on the outsole after a couple weeks of use. But all in all, really excited about this update and I think it's going to be a great shoe for players looking to be nice and speedy and comfortable and cute on the court. One of the first things I noticed when trying on these Ubersonic 4s was an updated fit compared to the 3s

 For the lightweight nature of the shoe I found these to be super stable on court they also offered really nice support I always had a really locked in secure feel the only support issue I had was at the end of the play test after I put upwards of 10 hours in the shoes I noticed that the underfoot cushioning started to lose some of its responsiveness and especially towards my forefoot it started to feel really bare and thin underfoot there so I was starting to notice the results of pounding on the court and I started to get a little bit of sliding issues then as well. That kind of leads over into durability which for a lightweight shoe it's not expected these would get the highest marks for durability and I did notice after 10 hours that I was getting some smoothing at the toes especially on my right foot where I dragged my toe on serves there's some smoothing there but it wasn't anything that I wouldn't normally expect to see from a shoe in this lightweight category. The traction underfoot I really never had to think about traction I felt like I was just floating across the court in these in a manner that wasn't at all slippy so really enjoyed the traction there. Overall it's been a while since I've worn a lightweight shoe and I loved how speedy I felt in these and I really loved that initial comfort that I got from the Lightstripe midsole cushioning

 Having play-tested several of the previous Ubersonics from Adidas, I was really happy with this update and I absolutely love the styling and the cosmetics that Adidas is executing on this lightweight shoe. The first thing I noticed was how supportive that booty really is. It held my feet in so well. But I do have to mention the lacing system was a bit tough for me to get dialed in with

 First off when I tried on my normal size 7 these ran pretty long at the toes for me so I opted to size down a half size to a six and a half. That worked out best for me in getting a more true to length fit. These also fit comfortably snug thanks to that booty construction. And the other thing I noticed right off the bat was that underfoot cushioning even just trying them on they felt super responsive underfoot and they did not disappoint

 Yeah I mean from the start the shoe was really comfortable when I slid my foot into it. Definitely like the other, like Jay and Chris have already mentioned I was slipping around in the front a little bit too much. One thing I did like was the added cushioning around the heel. I really noticed that really held my heel in place

 I thought it breathed well. Traction was really good. Durability, not so much. It's more of a speed shoe but I do feel light and fast in it

 Like the others I did find my foot sliding around laterally. I felt like the upper of this version is slightly stiffer than the Ultra Express which meant it didn't quite lock down the foot quite as well. You couldn't cinch up the upper and get it to lock in your foot. This one kind of stayed roomy and because of that my foot was sliding around so the support and the stability was not optimal

Absolutely.  Beautiful construction and design.

 Once I got it on court, it was just like everything from the very first generation. Really stable, really comfortable. The traction was great. I felt like I could slide in and out of my shots just a little bit, so not too sticky

 When I was sprinting around the court, traction was really good, had enough grip to make a quick first step and to come to a controlled stop, and yet if I wanted to slide out of a shot slightly, I could do that just by unweighting my outside foot, and I got a nice controlled slide out of the shoe. I thought durability was really good as well. The shoe flexed well on my toes, so when I was pushing off, the shoe felt comfortable, light and fast on my feet, and it actually feels a lot lighter than the specs would indicate. So a fun playtest for me, and I think if you've got a medium to a wider fit in the forefoot, you're going to really enjoy this one

 Now let's check in with him to hear his thoughts on the Hypercord Express 2. I thought the very first generation of the Hypercord Express was really comfortable and plush underfoot and I felt the same with this generation as well. It was really comfortable and this one, like the first version, felt a little bit more generous in the forefoot and has a little bit lower arch, which was great for me. I think the biggest improvement I noticed was the support

 Overall, my foot is a little on the narrow side, maybe not quite as narrow as Chris's, but this shoe is definitely wider, like the first iteration of the Hypercourt Express, especially through the forefoot. So I had to cinch the shoe up pretty snugly to get a good proper fit, but just the overall width of the shoe and the construction of it lends itself to be a very stable ride in any direction on the court. The outsole seems to be about the same tread pattern and compound as the Hypercourt Supreme, also the previous Hypercourt Express and the Ultra Shot. So this has worked great for me on pretty much any hard court that I've played on

KSwiss Hypercourt Express 2 Tennis Shoe Review - YouTube

Love the quality shoes but the sizing doesnt seem 100% accurate. My shoe size is 10 wide but these seemed slightly long and my biggest grief is lack of arch support.

Eh great quality but

 I'm 6'2", 215lbs and have high arches. I place after market insoles(Superfeet) in most of my shoes. With the Superfeet insoles in place, I can give a 5-star rating.

I've never owned a pair of K-swiss but had read several positive reviews on the K-swiss court shoes. Out of the box the fit well and I was impressed with them but not enough to give 5 stars(4 stars). I'm 6'2", 215lbs and have high arches. I place after market insoles(Superfeet) in most of my shoes
