720p should be an absolute minimum. There are a number of options in the price range you are considering, even some that are 1080p native like the Aaxa P7, or the Xgimi Mogo Pro. Even the older Acer K137 that I've posted about a few times would be a better option than the Viewsonic for sure, but not sure if you can still source one of those in the EU for the price they are available for here right now (less than $100).

I'm after settling on one of these 2 for my bedroom theatre. 
Its my first time buying any type if projector but have taken a like to these 2 , Xiaomi because i love the brand and have used their phones before and viewsonic because it has consistently popped up on my best portable projector searches. 
I can get a viewsonic second hand for 250 euros but I'll have to pay full price for the Xiaomi at 450 Euros . 
Taken this into account what would you go for ? 
Any other info i might have overlooked would be welcomed..

You need to have a better viewing for gaming to enjoy the tiniest details. The resolution is HD 720p (1280 x 720) in Emotn C1, and you will get Full HD 1080p (1920 x 1080) in Emotn H1. Best projector for 50/50 gaming &amp; movies?

Was not as good as I was expecting based on the reviews. I doubt the claims of 8,500 lumens as well. I use projectors for props and other window/wall decoration during the holidays. It is brighter than some of the cheap ones I have, but not as bright as one rated below 8,000 lumens

 When it comes to TVs in my house, I have a sort of hierarchy, if you will, as far as what rooms get the best TVs and what rooms get next in line. Needless to say, the TV in my kid's playroom doesn't get a whole lot of love with its 40-inch 1080p screen and its thick, bezel 2012 design. As a result, not a lot of TV shows or movies get watched in that room, and I'd like to change that if I can. And that's where this guy comes in

2, it's a Bluetooth 5.1, so better connectivity, more stable connectivity and obviously the distance itself is better and more reliable. Regarding the projection screen methods, it has wireless projection screen, distance is 8 to 10 meters, Wi-Fi or wired one, recommended 50 inches to 120 inches, remember that, anyway I think that's it regarding this projector, the main specs, regarding the controls itself, it does have a full control without even the controller, if you break your controller or if you lose it, you have here the obviously the home functions, on the side I showed you of course the fan and the speaker plus the plug, the charging plug, on the front we have the LED and on the back we have all the interesting stuff, so VGA, of course we have 2 USB ports, check this out guys, we have 2 USB ports, we have HDMI, 2 HDMI ports, AV port, headphone jack port, SD card expansion guys and obviously the sensors for the controller, that is insane, so it has SD card, 2 HDMI ports, 2 USB ports, come on man, you have to be satisfied by that, so you have to be satisfied, this is what I love about it, this is very rare to find in a projector of this price tag, all of this, anyway that's it, regarding itself here on the bottom we have some rubbers, here we have some function, of course to attach it to your 2K 60 FPS Forza right now, this is the Forza Ultra Wide, check this out guys, by the way this is 16 with 9 aspect ratio for sure, I'm gonna check also 4 with 3 aspect ratio, I think this is 16 with 9 right now, it's very wide, amazing, this is seriously really good 720p native resolution projector, for what I'm seeing of myself also the edges are sharp, love it, bright, it is bright enough man, it's bright enough, for the price tag it's not like it's something super bad or super amazing, it's just a regular brightness for this price tag, so guys I just figured out that the brightness was at 50%, now I'm going back to basically I put it at maximum right now, you can see myself picture mode, I put it right now at maximum and also checking out the aspect ratio 16 with 9 or 4 with 3, I just selected 4 with 3, I'm gonna go back, yeah I can see myself 4 with 3 there, let's go back here to input, HDMI 1, okay I got it, no wait a minute let me see, let me play it, let me see, yeah this is 4 with 3, this is 4 with 3 right now for sure this is 4 with 3, everywhere you can see that, you can even see the black bars on the top and on the bottom, also this is the night footage, okay here we so I would just, I think that I over exposed, the brightness was just too high, I wouldn't recommend you, maybe you can use that with like dark footages, but for now this is how it looks like, very
