Definitely a Zildjian Z something. That was their "metal AF" line several years ago. Great for heavy rock, not much good for anything else. They were one-trick ponies, but they were really good at that one trick.

Which budget cymbals to buy for metal?

If you can find old used Zildjian Z series, do that. They are heavy, bright, they cut through the mix, and withstand a beating.

Quality Zildjian product but absolutely the quietist crash cymbal on the planet. Parents you'll appreciate. Rock on you crazy diamond.

Depending on what the cymbals are that’s not a bad price. Try and negotiate a little. I agree on the Zildjian Z. Those are METAL AS FUCK lol
