Very wide soundstage, the low end is very satisfying and accurate, while being delivered with great strength, mids are very pronounced and full, and high end is awesome, it doesn't hurt the ears, but it's not muffled either. Can turn it up to a high volume and greatly enjoy music without it being painful. Music I produce on these speakers translates very well to other devices, such as headphones, phones, laptops, cars, etc.

Prior to this setup I’ve been listening to music on a pair of Yamaha HS7 studio monitors, which are also used for music production (nothing professional, just a hobby). I have to say, stepping up the Aria 936 speakers has opened up a new way of listening to music. First off, actually having a full range speaker opened up the low end.

I actually have two of these subs paired with two HS80M studio monitors. One sub alone outputs decent bass, but I feel the sub is not on par in terms of quality with the HS80M studio monitors. Assuming it's a bedroom size, I would highly reccomend the Kali Audio LP6 or the Yamaha HS7. Both are great sounding, neutral 6.5" monitors.

The Yamaha HS8s sound absolutely phenomenal. I've owned Mackie hr824s, Alesis MK2s, and KRK RP6s (temporarily) and the HS8s are in their own league. In this space i would also go bigger but be sure to buy front ported ones like the krk series. I use Yamaha hs7 but they are back ported and the bass would be uneven in your scenario

My mixes have never sounded better! These things are extremely accurate and sound great and consistent at any volume level. They are the best monitors at this price point and are an amazing value. The only reason I didn't give them five stars is because of the build quality compared to my well loved...

Been using yamaha HS7 previously. No complaint sound wise but just want to get rid of the look and the size. Doesn’t suit my setup currently. Looking for small sized (5inch is the max).
