I dont know about shipping to Croatia, but this is one of the biggest pro audio retailers in Europe.
The nice thing about active speakers is that u do not require a separate amplifier. I myself have the Mackie MR 624 and am fairly content with them.

Because you have a decent amplifier i suggest buying passive speakers, ie speakers that connects to an amplifier.

Looking for speakers for my PC in the **150-200$** range. The most important reason for buying a speaker for me are video games and movies, shows, podcasts, etc. I want a clear sound for voice, effects, etc. But even though music isn't a priority it's also important so I want something that isn't crappy for music as well. PC speakers in the 150-200$ range? (please read the description)

 Not so enthused about that as you can clearly hear a weaker side on the left speaker with that flimsy wire. They do what I want them to do, which is to play a better quality sound in the control room for monitoring video audio. They seem to be well made and have a black finish. The power button on the front and super quiet (No buzz or pops)

 Still deciding if the price is right for such small speakers, but when you consider their big brothers are usually several $100s more, this may be a good deal after all.

 These E3 speakers sound better and have adjustments for volume and base. One speaker has all the connections and the other gets its power and audio from a copper audio wire included in the box. Not so enthused about that as you can clearly hear a weaker side on the left speaker with that flimsy wire. They do what I want them to do, which is to play a better quality sound in the control room for monitoring video audio

Ideal for small space like Video Editing Studio or Music Editing Station

 When I lowered the bass and treble I was honestly shocked that the Eris 3.5s were actually starting to sound nearly as good as the Genelecs when listening to uncompressed music files. Don't get me wrong, the Genelec's still sounded superior but the feeling that they sounded $800+ superior started to fade as I got these dialed in.  So, in the end, I pulled my Presonus Eris 3

I'll keep this one short and sweet.  I had these monitors for about a year and listen to music on them every so often and have used them on for audio mixes for video editing. I had the chance to A/B these against two other pairs of studio monitors since, as a professional tv/film editor, I had a couple rented pairs loaned to me for a couple projects.  Up against the M-Audio BX5s these were my preferred speakers

  Currently I'm working with a pair of Genelec 8030a monitors. When I first A/B these to the Eris 3.5's I have to admit, I immediately was ready to sell these. The Genelecs just sound so good for small studio monitors but you're paying a hell of a lot more

After initially giving up the Presonus, I decided to tweak the bass and treble levels and man, did that do wonders. Out of the box these do not sound flat, there is a definite V shape to the sound

Needs some tweaking but it's a solid performer for the price.

 Same idea here. So if it sounds to tinny or harsh you want to turn down the highs slightly. This reduces the highs and thus the lows will be more prominent. Initially it sounded tinny but after a couple days it either went away or I got used to it I haven't had to touch mine

  One last thing I'd recommend. Since these are fairly portable, but all my wires are routed around desk I don't want to undo them if I decide to take monitors with me somewhere. I bought me an extra power cable and then use the 1/8" to rca cable and speaker cable they give you and put in a small ziplock bag. Now all I have to do is disconnect everything from monitors, grab my ziplock bag of stuff and I'm ready to go

 I was looking to upgrade my 15 year old set of pc speakers that work but I knew I could get better.  Sound wise these are called "Multimedia Studio Monitors" and by that definition these are really accurate. I also primarily have headphones with a flat response curve so these very much sound like headphones in that regard. They do have bass but it's not going to rock the place

(this is a review of the PreSonus Eris E3.5 model)  Good: - Sound is neutral - Very accurate sound stage - The 'acoustic tuning' it's called allows you to adjust for environment - aux in on front - professional look that isn't flashy and full of leds trying to call attention to itself. So I bought a used Behringer EX 4000 II, only slightly used bass enhancement and overtone addition and it’s like having bought much more expensive speakers. Not quite in Focal Twin territory yet but closer. (I have to switch it off for my Stax headphones though as they clearly show the added distortion.) Plus room correction via a DEQ2496, improved bass performance as well (fortunately my room wasn’t very critical to begin with).

I've been to many houses/places/showrooms with $$$$$ systems in less than ideal rooms, and majority of them were underwhelming, to say the least.  In contrast, digitally corrected rooms, even with much less expensive equipment, like a decent receiver with Audyssey/Dirac/ARC, can sound much better when properly calibrated.

I mean, some of my audiophile friends obsess with stuff like cables, DACs, etc... but don't bother minimizing the ill effects of their room to the sound.  I know somebody who owns a $5000 DAC, yet the room sounded like an echo chamber.

Do you agree that room correction (Audyssey, Dirac, ARC, etc.) makes a "decent" system sound better than "purist" megabuck system in untreated room?

First, some general introduction. The Yamaha HS studio monitors come in three different sizes.  They're actually really heavy but also in a good way because they feel really sturdy. Also the surface they're made of doesn't scratch or anything it just feels really good. Depending on the style of your room you can get these monitors in either black or white. In terms of connections you have a three pin power input on the back

Yamaha HS7 Review / Test - Great Studio Monitors

 So the Yamaha HS7 and the full Yamaha HS series from the HS5 to the HS7 and the HS8 are really

 great studio monitors and among the best in their price class and they also have the Amazon

 The Yamaha HS studio monitors come in three different sizes.

 There's the Yamaha HS5 that comes with a 5 inch woofer and the Yamaha HS8 that comes

 with an 8 inch woofer and the Yamaha HS7, you guessed it, comes with a 6.5 inch woofer.

 But still, they're three different sizes and depending on the little one to the bigger

 one they get more expensive as well as they have better sound and better bass since the

 woofer is the main thing that gets bigger with each size.

 My review will be focused on the Yamaha HS7 as that's the pair that I actually have but

 most of my points apply to all of these whereas the HS5 will have a little less bass and maybe

 be not as good whereas the HS8 will have more bass and just be a little better in sound

 just to their price point and their size.
