For those who don't own it yet: Wreckfest is a blast. I would recommend the game at full price, let alone the current discount.

I agree with all the other reviews that indicate you spent so much time waiting for the screens to load. The game is amazing when you're playing but you spend so much time sitting and waiting.

I loved Wreckfest, backed it early on and was amazed with what came out of it, they had early demos so quickly for backers and it just kept getting better and better. They put out a great quality game in the end.

The gameplay is OK, and online is fun, But, and a big BUT, it takes several minutes between races to load. And I installed it on the Hard Drive to boot. I’m returning it.

Wreckfest is great for silly racing and serious racing online on selected rule lobbies. A great all rounder with great graphics and physics.

Short of it- long load times for sure. Hopefully this will be patched/optimized soon. Otherwise, so far it is a fun game. Wreckfest is pound for pound the best racer on the market, and has some of the best controller physics out there. The throttle feathering and manual clutching makes cars so smooth and gives you a huge advantage online.

Excellent racing, demolition modes are top notch as expected. Career mode takes some time to unlock, but thankfully almost all tracks are open in the custom mode from the start. Car upgrades are easy to do, but slow to unlock. Biggest grievance is that the load times are quite bad for this generatio...

Wreckfest is a nice surprise and big fun. Even from the awesome menu music, a sense of tension is immediately created and grabs hold after a few listens. Racing Campaign AI in this game is a very memorable experience.
