* Project Cars 2: this game takes a lot of flak from the reddit hivemind but I think it is a very decent game overall. You can get it on sale very cheap and it has an amazing amount of content, some of which is very good, some not so much. Interface and graphics are very very good, also in VR. It is true that it is a little on the arcade side and at some point it will leave you wanting for more, but honestly I think it deserves a spot in a simracer collection.

Otherwise, the best VR/wheel supported driving games are Project Cars 2, Assetto Corsa, or iracing, which are all sim racing on circuits, which I also find pretty bland. I think Assesto Corsa does have decent community maps which deviate from the typical circuit formula though. The two Truck sims are pretty fun in VR, so they might be up your alley.

Project cars 2. Plenty of real life tracks but also some they just made up. Excellent. Lots of cars, many of which are very well done. VR support is there too.
